Meet & Greet / Re: Re: Howdy From Boston!
November 30, 2013, 04:07:07 PM
Hi beast, I live in the Fenway and have a small group of people who play on Wednesdays in Cambridge and sometimes Friday in Framingham. There are generally regular monthly tournaments. Let me know if you are interested.
#4
Could have been a lot more interesting if it was a top down or 3d arena game with roll to dodge projectiles

I'm a pretty active kof player, I'm at all the northeast majors and would love to have a beta code because I want kof13 steam to be successful. Also I can stream it.

I'm posting this from my phone so excuse my bad grammar. The front page needs more ways to pull people in. Eventhubs gets a lot of viewers because of constantly updating the front page with new stories. Also they have a good stream finder on their front page as well.

Steam release is an opportunity for the site to grow as there will likely be a large spike in numbers if the online is good. it would be a smart time to try to grab some of those new players. Consolidated resources for new players is a big way to start and maybe you can get some stream advertising during big kof events. How are people currently finding the site other than word of mouth?

By the way the front page chat is my favorite part of the site. Also the wiki.

For some reason today when I played all my connections have been terrible, yesterday they were all godlike - I don't know if theres specific ports that need forwarding for this game but if anyone has a way to figure that out would be awesome!

Also I also wish this game had 1 button throws, 2 button is really awkward with rolls

Anyone got an extra key for this? Very interested in trying it! Thanks

There are some lots nearby that can be around $20 a day. There's the MIT West garage on Vassar St but I need to double check what time they close.

My contact at MIT said the best way to save money is to take the Red Line T in from the Alewife stop to the Kendall/MIT stop that way the garage is only like $5 a day... BTW the exact door you want to come in for GUTS is 55 Vassar St

Directions from the Red Line:

Kendall/MIT Station

Training Room / Re: Re: Where are your eyes focused?

Personally I focus on the space between the 2 characters although I am starting to wonder if looking directly at the opposing character is more beneficial for reactions

I saw on the kyo thread that he can reset into meaty upkicks to make them positive on block. Is there a similar setup for crackshoot?
