I have no exp with seimitsu but i do have two full sanwa madcatz te sticks for sale. Lemme know if interested after someone m,ore knowledgeable helps you out with sanwa vs seimitsu.

I know its probably better to post on ebay or some such. But i also wanted to give you guys first shot at these.

They aren't special one is a stock ps3 the the other is 360 with replaced sanwa buttons and an octagonal restrictor plate. Ill lost pictures as soon as i can if you guys are interested. Id rather not pay shipping but i really want to get the money together for a. Eightarc sticm and these would be collecting dust. Starting price for both is 100 usd. As long as shipping isn't stupid high ill cover it so long as whoever wants the stick trust me enough to do so. The ps3 stick has barely seen use and the 360 stick is well broke in. Price is the same because of the restrictor.

If your trying to transition to a stick and KoF is your game of choice to do so. You started on a game that's pretty unforgiving of input issues. But that's actually great. It will force you to do the inputs correctly instead of being sloppy.

Id say don't give up and just make certain your input is good. Don't worry about speed just do the moves first and link them together in combos later on. Learn the games system first and just enjoy your mistakes for a while (sounds dumb) if your swapping up controls its going to happen.

But if I, a rookie to KOF entirely, can get passable at the game inside of two to three weeks already being on stick. I think you'll have that on top of getting used to the control input as well. The key is patience.

Saw your reply shark and agan a little off topic but it sorta fits in with the older guys here. I may be a KoF rookie but im always down for teaching anyone anything i can to help them in a way it motivates me to become better at what i do so the people i train or assist dont hang their heads when i play.

Getting new blood to the scene is absolutely mandatory for our contnuance we just have to find people who are gonna be as dedicated as we are. Without the arcade most of my finding semi locals has gone down hill. No excuses i guess...

Im 29 and was a regular arcade rat as a child and young adult. Lots of Soul Calibur back in the day... But as my arcade scene died and lack of a good paying job more or less forced me to stop going. Like the rest i tried online. Again in my area my online connection isn't good and there isn't anything i can do for it. I'll travel as much as i can for my hobby though.

I certainly feel like the last of a kind because all my younger friends look at what i do in KoF (which isn't even impressive) and then think "WTF how do you even manage that?" I also played a decent amount of Blazblue etc recently.

Ive been using Razer products since before they made optical mice.

Excellent company with an equally good warranty and registration. Im on my 2nd Onza and i even bothered with a basic youtube review of it. (Follow up review would take a bit of time).

Either way that company is golden, Ive had one onza repaired after it broke for a small fee because it was my fault not a defect. My origional one was defective and the microphone jack came apart inside just enough to make the mic chord loose.

My second one was repaired as some glue broke loose inside and fell in the trigger trough. They obviously like  you to be able to do basic mainteince of your gear and aren't alien to it at all. Ive gone through several PC mice with them but they are by far the best controller company I have ever run across. I've had my eye on this stick since i heard about it... i keep throwing money at my monitor but nothings showing up at my door.

I have to say this because its something i didn't expect to happen.

I have always been a SNK fan but a casual guy in that regard. I picked up KoF XIII on a whim and played it for a week or so and just got burnt out... input hell etc:.

So here i am now close to July 4th holidays taking the time to post on Dream Cancel a site i didn't know about till a few days ago. And already have found helpful posters, organized forums and amazing links and help that i didn't know existed. Why?

I realized im not challenged in my life anymore. Gaming was always my ball breaker, i like the games to be difficult, it brings satisfaction to everyone that enjoys a hard fight when you win or loose and can say you enjoyed it because of how hard it was to get there.

KoF XIII and to a lesser extent Gears of War 3 have been the only games to FORCE me to change what i do, how i think and how dedicated i am in a very long time. I never expected to latch on to this game because of the input timing and barrier as i am only passable at Blazblue. But coming back and finding that Duo Lon is very much a favorite followed pretty close by Terry and now King of all characters. I've got a nice feel for hte game and it has again FORCED me to be hard on myself again. I needed that hard kick in the groin to get motivated to do something.

I don't often replace the music but when I do its some kind of metal or rock with varying things thrown in for effect.

Think Metallica followed by the likes of Iron Maiden, Here comes the Kraken, Slipknot, and for the odd stuff, things like Michael Jacksons, Smooth Criminal.

Gotta keep it quality.

Liberty specifically but its close to Houston. So atleast i have that...

As for the comparison. I duno what i was thinking. To me they seem to "feel" similar in use not application. I dont know why maybe just new guy stuff. At any rate i appreciate the response.

Rookie KoF player here who just really got into the series. Played a lot of other fighters in the past. SF, GG, CVS2, etc. Anyway. My questions are basically team construction based. I currently seem to do okay with Duo Lon 1st, Kula 2nd, Terry anchor. Im not good with anyone yet but this teams suits me so far.

First question: as a competetive guy (even if im not intending on it it happens) this obvoously isnt cvs2 so i feel like im lost with my basic team construction and placement therein. Is there any standard besides point > battery > anchor that i just missed somehow?

Second: Ive played around with all of the cast trying to find ones who really appeal. So far duo lon and terry are all thet really mesh well. Is there another in that archetype that perhaps im missing or just dont have the kof background to see theit similarities in the mechanics?
