[Update 7/20]: Updated the KOFXIII rule set, the game will be played on XBOX 360 not PS3.

Update [7/19]: Sadly there will be no Legacy Live at FFA, and it will just be FFA Biweeklies. No more pot bonus, but still intense competition! Sorry folks, but it is out of our hands.

Update: Quick Update: Tl;DR version, switching the days for UMVC3/KOFXIII and AE2012/SFxT at FFA. SBO Quals is this weekend and a few people pretty much convinced us to switch up the dates. In the future there won't be any scheduling conflicts when it comes to local tournaments and major tournaments. We just didn't want to be flip flopping dates, I hate that. [Street Fighter x Tekken]

Hey guys, it's JuniorMints from The Mix-Up, the image above is the new flyer for our new tournament series at Family Fun Arcade. The frequency of the tournament is still TBD, but hopefully the turnout for this tournament will help decide how many times a month we can run these tournaments.

After the EVO 2012 season ended, we went back to the drawing board and came up with some new ideas and also found a few new partners along the way to help grow our community even more. We are proud to introduce our new tournament series, “Legacy Live at Family Fun Arcade!” with pot bonuses from Tournament Legacy! The games that will have pot bonuses are as follows: Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition 2012, Street Fighter x Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, and King of Fighters XIII. $150 for SSFIV and UMvC3, $100 for SfxT and KOF XIII. Payout to top 3, 1st place gets 60%+ to their earnings, 30%+ for 2nd, and 10%+ for 3rd. First place in SSFIV and UMvC3 would get an extra $90, 2nd will get an extra $45, and 3rd will get an extra $15. In KOF and SFxT, 1st place will get $60+, 2nd will get $30+, and 3rd will get $10+. The bonuses are guaranteed, the more participants the better the pot!


Entry fee is $10 (per tournament) $5 goes to the house/$5 goes to the pot.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and King of Fighters XIII will start the two day weekend off onSaturday, July 21st. Then on Sunday, July 22nd Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition 2012 and Street Fighter x Tekken will end the tournament weekend. This is just the start of many awesome things to come at Family Fun Arcade, be sure to follow and stay tuned for more announcements in the future!

Rules:

Street Fighter x Tekken:

1. Game version: XBOX 360
2. Game Settings: Versus, 99 seconds, 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games (grand finals will be 3/5 games), Default Handicap
3. If the Players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds of the commencement
of a game, the game will be set to random stage select.
4. All Gems will be enabled except for any Gem that has auto-throw break of autoblock effects.
5. Players may not use any glitch or bug that prevents the game from being played,
including but not limited to bugs causing the game to freeze, reset, remove
character from play zone or similar results.


Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 Tournament

1. Game version: XBOX 360
2. Game Settings: Versus, 99 seconds, 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games (grand finals will be 3/5 games), Default Handicap
3. If the Players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds of the commencement
of a game, the game will be set to random stage select
4. Players may not use any glitch or bug that prevents the game from being played,
including but not limited to bugs causing the game to freeze, reset, remove
character from play zone or similar results.
5. The Winner of a game may change his or her ultra setting, but such change must
be made before loser picks character.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

1. Game version: XBOX 360
2. Game Setting: Versus, 99 seconds, 3/5 games, Default Handicap
3. If the Players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds of the commencement
of a game, the game will be set to random stage select
4. Players may not use any glitch or bug that prevents the game from being played,
including but not limited to bugs causing the game to freeze, reset, remove
character from play zone or similar results.
5. Loser may switch team, Winner must keep the same team order and assists.

King of Fighters XIII

1. Game version: XBOX 360
2. Game Setting: Versus, 60 seconds, 2/3 games (grand finals will be 3/5), Default Handicap
3. If the Players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds of the commencement
of a game, the game will be set to random stage select.
4. Players may not use any glitch or bug that prevents the game from being played,
including but not limited to bugs causing the game to freeze, reset, remove
character from play zone or similar results.
5. DLC Characters: ALLOWED. Winners must keep same teams, but can switch team order
