Meet & Greet / Hello from Queens!

Just wanted to say what's up to everybody. I've been wanting to learn KoF for years and now with kof13 ive decided to put in the time and stop stalling. I play SF:AE and Soul Calibur 5 and suck (even worse) at everything else.
I'm starting pretty much from scratch here, but love the game. I'm located in Queens, NY so if anybody knows of any gatherings going on nearby let me know please! Otherwise I'll just be keeping an eye out.
