I prefer old school sprites but 2.5d is more acceptable than a 3d game.

What was it like to face MadKOF again knowing that he eliminated you from the tournament last year?

Honestly about the only gimmick to speak of is the sheer speed you have to do it in. The super cancel essentially comes right after the the hit connects, so you basically have to start the input right after you put in the input for the rekka. After you figure out the timing on regular rekkas, try spacing yourself so the first hit of the rekka whiffs and trying to get the super there. Once you figure it, you should be able to get the trial.

Wow thanks. I can actually hit both normal rekkas and super cancel but an occurring problem for me would be pressing all the directions on the dpad for the super, I keep leaving out   idk if it's my remote or what but I'm pressing really hard so it won't, yet sometimes it does.

I just figured out what evo was today, it's pretty cool to hear that you were there, kudos.

I can't seem to be able to super cancel the second rekka. I EVEN tried super cancelling regular rekkas in practice mode- doesn't work. What's the gimmick for this trial? >:l

Hello and welcome! Just a word of advice, the online play can be poor, but if you can get someone to play you online, it can be loads of fun. And yeah, the trials can be hit or miss; some characters have it extremely easy like Maxima or Vice, and then some get tight links or long combos real earlier. it's pretty random.

Doesnt it ultimately come down to the player who is playing the character and the match up?

Arent these tier lists a little biased?
I mean come on, unless who ever made the list mastered every character in the game.

Im stuck on trial 3 but I figured out you're suppose to buffer  
but I still cant land   after heavy punch
any tips?

Definitely don't be discouraged if you have trouble with the trials, they're all stupid hard compared to the combos you'll actually be doing in matches. They're great for practicing tough execution, though.

Yeah. I'm having issues with Ex Iori trials 

I just got a PS3 the other day for the first time, it's pretty nice. I saw this game in the store for 15 bucks which surprised me cause games are 30-60 dollars right? So I bought the game and 2 of the characters. This is my third fighting game I've played, the others were Mortal Kombat and Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters for the Sega Genesis and I haven't played them in a while. I found this website while the game was downloading and that's about it.
