Quality Assurance Tester would be great DLC. With that DLC, maybe SNK wouldn't release patches with game breaking glitches so often (e.g. LOL @ 1.10 breaking online for almost all of January).

Now that KoF XIV has been out on PC for almost a week, has there been notice of anyone finding game and/or character breaking glitches? I know SNK didn't test the game at launch, as evidenced by the throw tech glitches for Antonov and Verse. SNK has also rolled out several patches with game breaking glitches, such as 1.10 breaking netplay in the PS4 version for most of January.

Also, is the netcode terrible like the PS4 version?

General Discussion / Question about KoF14 (PC)
June 15, 2017, 09:29:44 PM
Hello, I'm interested in possibly buying the game on PC. I kept tabs on the game, in spite of my not having a PS4 and realized that SNK was constantly patching in game breaking bugs (e.g. Story Mode crash in 10/2016). I also noticed that a lot of people were having issues on PC due to the game being poorly optimized.

I know the PC version was a beta, but SNK proved with the PS4 version that they don't conduct adequate QA testing before releasing products and patches. The game was launched with character breaking throw tech bugs for Antonov and Verse, as well as the terrible netcode. I also read about the graphics update breaking the online component for nearly all of 1/2017.

I want a new fighting game on PC, but I don't want to risk spending money on a game that will likely be buggy. Sadly, I have little confidence in SNK due to their established track record of abacus netcode and using consumers as QA testers.

Thank you in advance
