The 16th installment of FINAL ROUND is back and better than ever! Thank you to EVERYONE that attended FRXV in making it the biggest Fighting Game Tournament on the East Coast with over 1500+ competitors from around the world competing to be the best in their favorite games. With Japan shocking the world with FinalRoundbats season #2 champion Kusoru "Ageo Joe" winning UMVC3 at FRXV on American soil with his V.Joe, Frank West, Rocket Racoon team made for high drama! What surprise's will happen at this years event? We hope that everyone that attended FRXV will come back and bring 5 friends with them. The location of the event is as followed:

$93 per night for the double bed room under the Final Round discounted group rate.

 

 

Yes we are happy to return to the Hilton near the airport for FRXVI. Players that fly to FRXVI will be a 3 minute shuttle ride from the venue. There's a FREE 24 hour shuttle from the Airport to the tournament venue so no expensive cab rides from the airport this year. This location also has plenty of places to eat inside the venue and around the venue and it is PET FRIENDLY for you guys that bring your pets to the tournament.

 

 

This year we'll be using the EVO/UFGT pool system (16 man brackets per pool, double elim) for all tournaments at FRXVI to complete the tournament in a timely manner. At this moment the games that are confirmed for now as Official events for FRXVI are the following:

Street Fighter 4 AE v.2012

Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

King Of Fighters 13

Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code

I will try my best to attend. I have a uncle that lives down there, so I will pay him a visit.

Looks like I will be attending. I can't wait, I'm a little anxious and excited, so I hope I will do well in the matches I play. I registered online (badge and KOFXIII entry) a month ago and I have my ticket ready, so I'm all set.

This sucks.
I won't be making it to FR, but between 5-10 other Vegas heads shall be there.
I'll be there in spirit. Watching all the matches from my new pc and mad beer with a hint of salt
as I view all the matches that get streamed.

That sucks sir, but get your stream creep on all weekend long!

For EVERYONE that paid online registration for your game and not your badge or vice versa you better get here early on friday morning because your registration IS NOT COMPLETE!  For those that didn't online register at all you better be here bright and early on Friday March 2, 2012 because registration ends on friday!  We had online registration up for 6 months so I hope you guys can make it out, but if you get here on Saturday thinking you are going to sign up for a tournament you'll be sadly mistaken.  There's only 4 days until FRXV eve so get hype people!  If you can get a friend to sign you up early on friday that would work also, but he needs all of your information and the money to buy the badge.  We'll put you in the system, and he will have your badge.

My group of friends are driving down Saturday morning, because I have class on Friday that I cannot skip.




One of our group wants to enter SF4, but I was wondering if I could get him in a later pool, just in case we hit traffic or something in the morning.




Is there an email address or something I should contact to settle this matter?

Anyone that can not be at the hotel on friday morning March 2nd, 2012 MUST SIGN UP ONLINE register for their badge and games or they will not be able to compete in the tournaments. No they will not be put in a later pool if they don't sign up online. They need to email the webmaster on the fr website to notify us that he will need to be in the late pools. They will get a spectator wristband and watch the event. Registration at the door ends on friday, period! If they register online they can pick up their badge on sat.

To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of FINAL ROUND along with celebrating some friends birthdays WE WILL BE THROWING A PARTY on Saturday March 3, 2012 When day 2 ends! The Hotel will set up a mini bar in the lobby for those that are of the age to have drinks while "DJ Spiralpowered" but the community knows him as "JAXX" and DJ Big NAHZ will be providing the musical entertainment for the 15th Anniversary party Your host will be Scott Popular so you know the party will be hype! Space is limited so this is 1st come 1st served party!


The party will be free to enter for players attending FRXV as long as you have your badge on ($10 without a badge), but the drinks will not be free. Beer/Wine/Mixed Drinks will be sold by the hotel mini bar at their hotel cost. Anyone that can prove their birthday is within march will get a piece of cake for sure! Others will have to get it in when they get a chance. More info coming soon Shawty!

This will be the BIGGEST KOF tournament in USA History!  Well until EVO rolls around. hahahahaha!  As of right now We have around 100+ in KOF13 that have registered online up to this date.  This is not the final total nor can we judge how many will walk up and sign up at the door!  IF YOU AIN'T AT FRXV FOR KOF13 then  WHY ARE YOU PLAYING THE GAME?!?!?!?[/font]  This is a message from Dark Geese:

Dark Geese and his MEXICAN KOF13 CARTEL is coming to bust some heads in KOF13 as they are signed up and ready to whoop some buttocks!  Can you stop the terror Dark Geese and his team has promise to unleash on the EC in KOF13?!?!?!?

We are extending the online registration for FINAL ROUND XV until Feb 24, 2012.  Please goto the link below to register online:

This will help us set the brackets earlier and properly seed players that are attending from around the world!  If you do not register online you will not be seeded in any form or fashion!  That means you won't be seeded away from players from your TEAM MEMBERS, CITY, or STATE.   Nor will you be seeded on skill level through your wins in the tournament scene. 

Please help US at FINAL ROUND make this event run the smoothest it has ever ran before by registering online for your badge/games.  If not then enjoy the long line of doom on friday.  If you can't make it to the door registration on friday March 2, 2012, before 12 noon you will not beable to sign up for any tournament games during this years event.
