I have it too. I can confirm that load times are faster.

Can anybody else confirm that the load times are reduced?

Installing will reduce the load times unless you mean shorter load times than installing it

There is a mention that the patch reduces load time. I'm curious to see if it's true.

What's pretty crazy is that that Solid and I just did like 15 matches, the connection was superb. We'd played a number of times in the past and it was always shitty. (the one good time was like a 3 bar)

I notice that the load times have been chopped as well. The time it takes to get to round one is like 2 sec if that.

Going to go battle japan's talent now and get my ass kicked - Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaargh!!!

Can anybody else confirm that the load times are reduced?

To those who can download NEST Kyo. How is he?

Ugh! That's a lot more of Raiden than I wanted to see. Heh heh.

Nice, KOF-i got updated and it has a new stage:

It looks ok, although I hope the console version has a little more going on in the background. That's what, 23 stages we know of now?

Nobody cares about AI.

If you can't go online, try to find some offline players.

A lot of people care. Besides, I was talking to the rep. I wasn't asking for the local troll's opinion.

Easy there, I'm sure GaryDee will want to find some offline competition eventually but until then he wants to play the AI which is his prerogative.

Exactly Kane. I seriously doubt I'll find much offline competition and since we have no idea how good online is going to be(if I go that route), AI might be my only outlet.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys. I have been checking whatever you guys posted in the current console build. Please note that while not all of these issues may be addressed, we are looking into each matter carefully before determining what the best course of action may be.

Oh, and the slowdown issues are pretty much nonexistent in the current build, so you guys won't have to worry about that come retail release.

I hope you guys tackle some of the AI quirkiness I saw in one of the Pax videos. Good AI is going to be important for guys like me who don't go online.

Possibly...there was at least another difficulty above Hard so that might be more interesting to play against.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully, the team has time to tighten up the AI before release. If not, perhaps it can be patched later on.

Definitely better than XII's (which isn't saying much) but not quite up to the same level as XI's I think. For the most part it just seems to be very psychic (note Leona blowing four stocks in rapid succession in an attempt to punish perceived openings).

Do you think it's good enough to provide an enjoyable challenge?

Got a few more videos here of the non-versus modes, which rounds out my video recording from PAX:

Since you got to try the AI, how do you feel about it?

It looks like there isn't any slowdown on the PAX build. That's great to see.

General Discussion / Re: KOF inputs
August 26, 2011, 04:05:54 PM
I'm new to the KOF series and I have a question. Since the inputs tend to be lenient in KOF, is it easier to do Desperation Moves than say, Street Fighter Ultra moves?
