Bakuretsuken = [A/C repeatedly] - Throws a series of rapid punches that can be followed up with a finisher. Minimum number of button presses: 4. No difference between A and C. The finisher motion can be inputted while pressing the button 4 times with one more button press at the end in order to finish with the least amount of punches (4 including finisher). This is a valuable technique for Joe's juggle combos as the finisher leaves the opponent juggleable. Bakuretsuken can be super cancelled only.

I am pretty sure this can be drive cancelled after the follow up. I know that you covered that in the EX version, but maybe you should add it in the regular version as well.

I have been messing with the hcf+BC bypass from fwd+B. It seems like you have to delay it a little or you will get the HD dash animation. Why does slash kick come out instead of a hurricane punch? I am wondering because in SF, a harder a stronger attack button always had priority over a lower attack button.

Everyone, even if you dont make it out to Sac, please like and share this. This is for the monthly event that I host at the Sac Central Library. I have a few pictures of what the venue looks like, and some pictures of the Galleria. They want me to host a tourney in there and the more support I get, the faster it can happen.

Hey guys. I volunteer at the Sacramento Central Library downtown. Once a month I set up gaming stations that features different games. I try to give it a social arcade feel. I mostly put out SSF4AE, UMvC3, MW3, SSBM for everyone to come in to play. I know it sounds weird that it is in a library, but the rooms I use are not directly in the library. check out the website http://www.librarygalleria.com

Starting in January, I am adding KOFXIII to the list. If I was putting an event together this month, I would have it available too. The area is a 1600 sq foot room that can easily fit 60+ people in it.

The library is encouraging me to fill a 5400 sq ft galleria to host tournaments in. I have a lot of plans that I would love to do, but I need more people to come out. All of this stuff is free for me to use, and I want to use all of it!

I usually host this on the last Saturday of each month from 12-5p.  It's right off of 7th and I, so it's easy to locate from B-80 or I-5.  There is free parking available 2 blocks down from the library.

I use Rufus, Akuma and the twins in SSF4AE, so I was immediately drawn to Yuri. Her divekicks can start pretty low to the ground, so you can start some nasty pressure.

Right now my team consists of Yuri, Joe, and I am working with Terry and Maxima.  Where would be the best spot to put her in team order?

Right now I have her first to build meter. I rely on mixups and dive kick pressure for damage and give all of my meter to Joe or Maxima.

What is the timing on canceling to the follow up before the multi punches come out?  I'm going to work on that today!

Instead of fwd+b, I am messing around qcf+b for the command normal.  This way, I can buffer into qcfx2p or qcfx2bd easily.

Yuri totally feels like Akuma and Rufus! You can dive kick pressure and cancel a normal into her flip to do some mixups.  It seems like you have tons of frame advantage with the dive kicks, so she's a keeper.

Joe is definitely turning into my homeboy.  It seems like he can play safe with his 6B and tornado punches.  I like to cancel his fwdB into qcfx2 BD.

I tried Ryo, but he's kind of boring to me.  My last character will be Robert, Kyo, Iori, or Maxima.

Cool. I got DDTC 1-8 down but l can't get a hold of HD cancel.  I'm used to FADC and XFactor.  HD feels more instant.  I'll get a hang of it soon.

When you get a bit more situated with the game, could you comment on team choices? Will be very interesting to hear about given your SF background up till now!

I thought it was going to take a while to get used to the qcf hcf motions, but I'm getting a hang of it. Canceling normals into command normals will take some time too. For example, Roberts 2b 2a 6b has a weird timing. I need to get used to doing the cancel faster.

Right now I am liking Yuri. I am a fan of dive kicks and once I get used to hd, then I should be able to do some damaging stuff.  I don't know if the dive kick can cross up like Rufus', but that would be cool.  I like Joe right now too.  I have been messing around with Iori, Terry, and Robert and I think I need to keep looking. Next will be the Maxima, Kula, and K'.  One of those characters seems to be on everyone's team, so they have to be good.

You should check that thread out.  You can find players in your region. Most of them will play SF and Marvel, but im sure a few of them will play MK, BB, GG, MB, and KOF

Hey guys. Im new to KOF. I am messing around with Joe, becasue random select thought he would be a good pick at the time.

I am looking for a combo list. I know there is the DDTC Joe video that has a lot of combos to use, but I dont know if all of them will work for the console version. Is that true?

Hey guys. Im new to the KOF scene. I dont think I have ever played a KOF actually. I remember playing AoF, Fatal Fury, and Samurai Showdown as a kid, but that was always when I was waiting to play SFII CE or Final Fight at the arcades. Since SF4 came out, I have been drawn to C.Viper and Rufus.  Everyone says that those characters play more like a SNK character, so I started looking into KOF.

I have been watching the IPW Southtown Ranbats, and I've been getting hype for this game! The characters look cool, the graphics look good, and it seems like a very deep game. I'm a big fan of hops because I play JoJo's from time to time, and hops are important in that game too.

I picked up my copy yesterday, and it's fun. I really dont know who to start with so the first 3 random characters I got were Joe/Yuri/Iori.  The combos are cool, because it feels a like a good mix between chains and links.  I havent really tried any of the advanced combos yet, but I cant wait until I get used to HD. The drive cancels are pretty easy to do and it looks flashy.

I volunteer at the Sacramento Central Library downtown, where I set up games to play for free. I usually setup, SF, Marvel, CoD, Rockband... but I will definately add this game to the lineup!
