Training Room / still not understanding the block string game....

ok the most difficult thing about KoF for me now is the black strings. i really cant(for the life of me) keep a solid one going and it cost me game after game after game, its like no matter what i do i cant bring out a solid block string to keep my opponent from doing anything and i cant fake them out neither they see everything coming...this i need hlep with please...anyone thank you if you reply

i need more competition...its the only way i can truely progress. i keep playing the same guys which is fine...but i want more..my arcade home is japan arcade. i can try and make it to alex's arcade but if you guys can make it to japan arcade that would be great as well..hit me up if interested and we can schedule a date to play thanks

ok first and foremost i wanna thank all that have been helping me with advice and tips on making my game better each time i post something up is only because i am trying it out in training mode and wanna know if there are simpler ways of doing it or if im having tough battles and i cant seem to win and need help. So with that being said this may be the last time i ask for help on what to do for king of fighters 13 and i will start on doing things the way I need to do them (e.g. figuring out my own solutions to my fights and problems). I ask for my final help on very effective pressure and block strings. For the life of me i cant seem to keep them tight and strong on my opponent and wonder what is missing, i do as many normals as i can bu doesnt seem to hold them at bay like i want them to be can someone please lend me there knowledge once again for the last time

lately i have been getting trashed by my competition at my local arcade...they are ok but the only reason they win is because of my lack of knowledge on how to keep them at bay especially with projectiles. none of my projectiles seem to work no matter how hard i try and no matter what i do it just doesnt work they always miss which leaves my zoning game as "suck ass"  its getting a little irritating now that my strategies dont really work help a brother out please

Training Room / sharpening my mix-up game and fluency

hey i been wondering how ppl do mix-ups so well and fast in king of fighters 13 its one of the basic things to do in any fighting game. but in KoF 13 its hard only for the reason that when i begin my mix ups no matter what i cant keep it going. i start my mix ups by putting my opponent in blockstun(or try to...to the best of my abilities) then go for highs an lows grabs,projectiles etc. but when i do a move that has fast recovery and my opponent is supposed to be in blockstun they seem to always be faster than me no matter what....i wish i can show what i am talking about but i cant tips would be appreciated

man lately i know i have been getting good at KoF.....just not good enough one of my most difficult opponents are people that poke more than people that turtle. so i am asking if anyone have any tips to do with people that poke? i could never figure out what to do against them thanks much appreciated

hey its been far too long since i posted anything about KoF 13 and well i have the counsel version and LOVING IT! my question is about leona. i was thinking of going into to her to pick her up as sorta a fun/competitive character but i cant seem to understand how her moves work for DC combos or better yet HD combos...can someone help a brother out please thank you much appreciated

today i trained really hard in KoF 13....played a few people FINALLY beat someone at my level...overall it felt really good to play KoF today i could do what i wanted to do and kensou is a really good character he is officially my main right along with terry(the one and only) and....well im still stuck on an actual 3rd character...but its between shen woo and robert garcia

i have a big question i been noticing things in KoF 13 for instance short hopping like crazy...i would like to know if there is a quick way of doing that cuz i see ppl do it and its ridiculous and im having a hard time pulling off 2 back to back

after playing against Romance, Mr KoF(for the first time swear he was not wat i expected lol) and getting destroyed for more than 2 weeks by them and nobody at my level i finally play against people that ARE at my level i lose but i KNOW that i can win....now i just need a general set-up strategy and more importantly patience. i tend to fuck up on some sweet ass openings and i overrush my opponent by running in too much. my challenge still goes on for those that can make it to japan arcade. and(if possible) this saturday i will be giving alex's arcade a try so hopefully people you give me you PM and accept(just a reminder this is for people that arent that good at it yet(like me))

im beginning to question if i should even play KoF 13...As much as i play and as hard as i try....so help me god i try so hard...i cannot hit anyone and i cant find anyone that is at my level all i can do is play team chaos...and LOSE! never win just lose....its starting to irritate the mess out of me hardcore....its like all my practicing is for naught....someone for the love god help me -__- i dont want to quit playing this game because i cant win at it....

To all the KoF players out there im a new member to this site(obviously) just thought i would introduce myself to all of you out there that reads this im grateful to have found such a website that keeps you into the gaming world even though i feel its falling apart i like to thank SNK for being better than Capcom right about now. we needed this i was always into fighting games since the original street fighter back in the old days i didnt start taking fighting games seriously until about 3 or 4 years ago playing 3rd strike. i was starting to play with tournament level people before they decided to vanish from the face of the earth and go to gay ass SF4 OR SSF4 after that i fell off the fighting game world cuz there was nothing worth my time to play until i ran into KoF 13 thank god for this game here. im hoping to master this ame to the best of my abilities and i hope to play and meet cool people playing this game as well. i am a SoCal player even though i dont really represent because i just started back with a good friend of mine and we intend to start our own fighting game team of our own hopefully we can do something with it at least half way. i thank you all for your time if anyone is in the downtown los angeles area where Japan Arcade is located we can hopefully have some games there thank you again peace
