Using qcf+C work if you want the meter less dmg.

^backflip is mostly useless, you can cancel it into specials once he gets to the handstand part, the invul is long gone before then though. ive only really used it in combos. lol

Ive been using Kensou on point and LOVING it. He does well against King, IMO, as he can cr.D and duck under her fireballs. forcing her to fight him, but she can still be tough, especially if she gets you into the corner.

I like using him on point just cause his meter gain is nice. most people dont seem to know that after landing a Qcf+K (like the end of rekka chain), you can whiff another QCF+b for a bit of extra meter, you can whiff a 2nd one, but you can eat a reversal easy.

also cool to note, is that lvl2 mashed DP+C (the version that gets 9 hits) is safe. its like -1 if not 0.

Ive just gone with foregoing the "reset" normal after a rekka string and letting the opponent hit the ground to set a Left/right mix up using the teleports. It requires a bit of reading, but nice rewards imo.
Havent been able to really test it that well, so Im not sure how safe it may be. It does criss-cross up though, making reversals harder to do.

Examples:

Rekka string, (no delay) qcf+b, opponent rolls,(no delay)qcf+b = you criss-cross them up.
Rekka string, (no delay) qcf+b, opponent rolls, (delay) qcf+b = you look like your gonna cross up again, but dont and wind up in point blank range.

then theres other thing you can do if you delay the first qcf+b, and such. If you dont read it right and they DONT safe fall, then you just fly past them back to half screen. Of course if they dont tech, then you can still mix up from there.

which I had the capacity to make videos. this shit is hard to explain in words.

Most of this is just Lab-work. The people I play with don't really safe roll. lol -_-

To stay OT, is there anything else that Drink Pink does?

look to my older post.

Drink Pink, what's it do?

10% damage increase, adds another hit to his back breaker super, and hes even MORE crazy during his neomax.

oh, does anyone know what the deal with his non-cinematic version of his Neomax is? Its like a 7 or 8 hit B dragon kick for less damage. Ive seen the normal version hit during combos, so I dunno what it changes it.

Is it possible to combo into Drink Pink and continue the combo?

dont think so, its kinda slow. ill see what i can do next time I play it. if youre hit before Hwa changes color (pretty much at the end of it) it gets canceled.

his normals might be faster, but shorter ranged.

Wow no love for Kensou.

Anyway, does Kensou's NeoMAX move foward like his Chokyudan specials?

barely, if at all. the overall HUGENESS of his neomax covers the need for the range.

at first I hated this kensou, but hes growing on me

if I would of known you were at UFO, I would of gone there too.
did you get to spend ANY time in the training mode?

in my exp with Hwa, normal TNT punch is garbage (doesnt move him forward, has no range so it drops while hitting a LOT). but the EX version is VERY good as it moves him forward AND automatically does the finisher that sets up a juggle state to hit with something like dragon kick or even Dragon dance or Neomax.

I like him a lot, but he needs a lot of meter to do stuff IMO, and his normals are okay.
