So are there still going to be gatherings at Gamecenter on Fridays, or are those being moved/canceled so as not to clash with RAMnation? I hope to make it to a session after I get back from SoCal, might even head up to Southtown if I can set aside a free day.

Good shit to everyone I played at Gamecenter today. I was the guy with the long hair and glasses playing Kensou/Terry/Kyo and a couple of games with Kim, just in case anyone remembers. Sorry I didn't formally introduce myself. I lost track of time and had to leave the place early to meet up with a friend.

Didn't win any games, but I'm glad to say I only got OCV'd once! :D

Definitely going to head back there again for the weekly sessions.

Kaori:
12 meaning noon? I have work today until about 4, so the earliest I could get there would be around 6. :/

If today doesn't work out, I might just go to NCI tomorrow. Seems that people might be opting for Southtown today anyway.

Where is gamecenter? next to SanMateo or that's another one?
Yeah, the one in San Mateo next to the Caltrain station. I've never been there before so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm planning on heading to Gamecenter tomorrow afternoon, probably after 6. Hope to see some people there so that I can get beat on and hopefully learn some things!

Well it turns out I probably won't make it to Gamecenter this Friday, as I have to work late. I was wondering, though, is the place set up to allow people to use their own sticks? As I understand it, their console games are installed in arcade cabs, so I was just curious.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll definitely look into heading up there some time soon.

Meet & Greet / Re: Heyo, new member from San Jose, CA

I think GameCenter has $5 free nights on Fridays if I'm not mistaken.  There's plenty of guys to ask in the NorCal thread as well.

What other games do you play?
Yep, I got the info from Reiki in the NorCal thread. Thanks though!

Right now I don't really have a main game. I guess my most-played series is probably SoulCalibur, and I'm also a big Virtua Fighter fan. Looking forward to see if SC5 is good, since I didn't like SC4 and almost nobody played 3. Hopefully more than 10 people will play VF5: Final Showdown when it's out. :P

I also dabble in SSF4 every so often, but I'm not really serious about it. I might play more when AE2012 comes out.

Welcome, soakrates. Do you go to NCI's?
That's NorCal Install, right? I don't go, but I'm familiar with them since I live really close to SJSU. Do they play KOF13 there?

Hi soakrates, nice to meet u :)

I was interested too, what other fgs do you play?
Hi! See my response to Kane up above. :)

There are biweekly training days where you can play the game for $5 till closing, $7 for the whole selection of games.
That sounds good. What day of the week do these training days occur, and around what time do people usually show up?

Hi all. Kane317 suggested I introduce myself. I've been playing fighting games for a while now, and this name might even be familiar to a few people here, but I've never really gotten into KOF before. Hopefully that'll change. If there are any gatherings going on in the South Bay in the near future, I'd love to hear about them!

Yeah, I already know about Southtown from watching the IPW streams, but the city is a bit far for me to go to regularly. Although every two weeks could be doable.

Oh, and hi. And thanks. :)

I'm in San Jose, but I'm ass at this game. I hope to attend some sessions at Gamecenter in the near future. Are there weekly or monthly gatherings there?
