this whole 3d thing is really disappointing. I hope this is a side game as well.

I'll be sure to start tuning in.  :)

Are you implying they are testing a new net code on Xbox?

General Fighting Game Discussion / Re: Who's getting 3SOE?

Got this game yesterday. I'm still in training though.

More from Reynald:
Had Kane317 and MetaAbe help me create a chart for newcomers or even people who want to pick up new characters to help in deciding just that.
Notes while viewing the chart:
-I decided that Flame along with Beni are not higher on the technical chart because they do not need INFINITE LOOPS to win a match.
-Joe is on top because he basically needs the STUN COMBO to win most of his matches due to the lack of tools given.
-Flame is easier to use compared to 13 Iori because 13 Iori has a more difficult time getting the damage in (still not too difficult compared to other characters hence the placing on the chart).
Where did you get this? And I was too busy watching injustice during kof. Will there be vids on YouTube? I can watch streams live on twitch, but can't watch the archives because I can't dl whatever is needed.

The DC wiki is actually better than some other sites wikis. It's already a lot of info. Good stuff though.

yes, I am also a fellow noob and I concur. You just have to stick with it, and yes it seems it will take a LONG time to get even decent at kof. There is no way around it. If you are on Xbox, we can see if we can get a good connection? Because I'm looking for someone learning the game as well.

So how long in general do you have to practice combos and such in this game? I know kof is more execution heavy than mk9 and injustice(my other fighters of choice) so I expect to obviously have to put more practice time into kof.

Does anybody still go to GGA? Or do you guys go to ignite gaming lounge?

General Discussion / Re: Learning new characters.

So how many characters should I learn if I'm just starting the game. I got the game last week and have only done a few trials and part of the tutorial. I ultimately want to learn 6-8 characters eventually. Is this too many?

So to drive cancel, start inputting the next move as soon the first one hits?

Hey all, I'd love to add some of you guys and get some match experience going. I've been a training mode monster for a month now but when it comes to actual games, I freeze up and forget everything. Also for connection's sake, I'm on the east coast, near NYC

I'll add you. I'm in IL.

Lol. I have 1 gig memory space left. And I was trying to use the GameStop power up rewards coupon.

Just ordered the game from gamestops warehouse yesterday(no local stores had it in stock). I'll play some of you guys if you still play when the game gets here.
