I tried what was recommended in the thread (uninstalling and reinstalling Steam) and sadly, it did not seem to work.

Hey, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but the tech support subforum looked like it only pertained to site issues.

So I installed KoFXIII on this computer a few days ago, configured my buttons, played through the story mode, and unlocked every color for my team. I didn't get to play the past couple of days because of holiday stuff, but when I decided to play it again last night, as soon as the game started, it decided to create a new save file, overwriting my current save file. I thought it was odd, but I just remapped my keys again and played a few rounds. Then when I tried to play it this morning, the same thing happened again.

I couldn't find anything that would explain why this happens/how to fix it, I've run the game as admin and all that stuff, but still nothing. Anyone have an idea what to, or am I stuck having to redo everything each time I start the game up?

Edit: It's doing this on both of my computers.
Edit 2:Installing to a different HDD didn't work either.
