If anyone is going to accompany Billy to make a full team I'm certain it will be Mary and Yamazaki. In this game SNKP has shown a very obvious pattern of putting characters in their classic team lineups with only a couple of exceptions. Take this in account with the popularity of those two characters and you get yourself a very safe bet. And if Iori '98 is in this game, I am sure he will be a stand alone character.

i think people need to understand that the orochi characters are dead, asking for rugal, goenitz, yashiro, chris and shermie when they are dead?

Unfortunately (or possibly fortunately), bringing back Mature and Vice in the manner they did basically opens up the possibility of anyone coming back. But I don't believe any of those characters have an honest chance of coming back this game. Even so, people always got their hopes and dreams despite the evidence (or lack thereof).

So the release date for Japan is Oct 27 and the official release date for NA has not been announced. If the release date for NA was to be something like Nov 29, would any of you import the game to play it a monthly early at home? and then buy the NA version again?

Remember JP/Asia PS3 version is not region protected and you can go online with it.

I would definitely not import this game. Atlus is going to the trouble of bringing this game to us and I would hate to deny them what they deserve. Also, how is SNK to know how well the game is received in america if we all import?

That's why I ask? would you purchase the NA version again? How great would it be for Atlus if we purchase both versions?

Sorry, I assumed you meant importing instead of getting the US version. I got no beef with anyone who wants to get both versions. I personally don't have the kind of money to be buying the same game twice (or in my case 3 times since I am planning on buying a copy for a friend that I am desperately trying to convert to KOFism), but to each his own I guess.

As for the release date itself, I'm confident that the 25th is accurate. We did get KOFXII 2 full days before the japanese did if I recall correctly.

While extra characters would be cool (crosses fingers for Blue Mary), it's not something I would consider to be a top priority. I just want a well rounded game with modes that will satisfy both those who prefer online play and those who prefer to play by themselves.

I don't expect them to go overboard with modes like in a MK or SC game, but I don't wanna feel like I have experienced everything the game has to offer after 10 minutes of play either.

Just ordered a shirt myself and I can't wait to wear it at Evo. I just hope it fits well. I tend to be a bit too tall for XXL but I'm not fat enough for XXXL.

Good question, but I would like to ammend the question to include all current handhelds in general. I would go for a 3DS version myself.

I'd rather not share my gamefaqs username as I have said some things on there before that I regret and I don't want to bring that along here (plus I misspelled the damn thing when I signed up there, so there is that extra bit of embarrasment). You can rest assured though that you never spoke to me on there anyway.

I will say I'm a big fan of yours, your Chin is absolutely sick, and I hope that I can play against you sometime. I'm not someone who goes to tournaments, but maybe when KOF13 comes to consoles we can duke it out. You'll beat the hell out of me I'm sure, but I'm always up for a learning experience.

Been meaning to join up here for a long time (ever since Kane317 started posting links to Arcade Infinity vids on the KOF13 gamefaqs boards), but have not due to my unparalleled powers of procrastination. It seems like a really great community is building up here and it's about time I joined in on it. I used to play in a KOF12 clan called Mark of the Wolves and I hope that at least some of those guys made it here as well. The netcode for that game may have been crap, but it didn't keep us from having good times.

I simply cannot wait to get to know everyone here and my anticipation to meet you all in battle when KOF13 finally comes to console cannot be measured.

I second the motion on the neo geo pads. I would buy at least 2 of those.

As for my question for Atlus, I would like to know what you are going to do to attract people outside the existing KOF fanbase?
