Hey guys! I'm looking for high level players to watch for educational purposes. When I asked who was the best, Xio Hai was the typical answer. What could I learn from him? What makes him do good?
Watch for his spacing mostly. A friend of mine on psn told me that he practice with him and that he knows everybody frame data

Interesting read but there are a few things that you left out when it comes to his air normals. Like J. D angle iz good to jump back and get free damage but can loose in a air to air because of the angle in which jump b comes in. It's long and has great hang time

Naw can't do it.

I wish they would have gave him his otg combo with the dive.

Anyone know why his dive attack is supercancelable? There's no way you can combo it, and it's blockstring tight so you can't trap anyone looking to punish either...

Haven't tried it in XIV yet but in XIII you could land a super or drive cancel into a special and have them combo if you hit at the opponent's feet with the dive attack. Spacing was important.

Even though he can do those things Terry still have his weapons as well as good normals and covers more distance as well as more angles

unless u can read a billy player then you gotta play the waiting game. I would say it depends on how the billy play if hes to defensive the u may have to do the same but you would have to wait for a opening so you can start your rushdown game

I agree. I would suggest not to stratigize on who you pick just stick to those who interest you then separate who's able to do what and who covers what part of the screen
