I don't think SNKP has to do the Dragon Spirit story in KOF. According to what I see, the only game that support SNKP now is KOF, then why don't SNKP try to expend their business by create a different kind of game.

If my memory is correct, the Psycho Soldier team was originally from an SNKP action game. Now they have better technology to make better art design for the game, why don't they try to create a New Psycho Soldier action game? Then they can have both of the Dragon Spirit story going and Kensou as the major player when they don't have to disturb the KOF stories.

Well, what comes first is SNKP has to have enough people and money to do so...OTZ

I think they do have to do the Dragon Spirit saga. They already started it during the NESTS saga, and it would make no sense to continue it on another game.

I understand you concern. However, many players still having trouble to believe that Kensou as the main character of KOF. I just think that expending the types of the game can help SNKP in both explain the Dragon Spirit story line and protect the image of KOF. After all, it just my personal opinions.

I think Raiden is more dumb out of the two in Arcade, but tier-whoring happens everywhere. They want to win and not leave it up to them as players to decide that.

Well...Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable. m(_ _)m I think one of them is fine. You know, everybody want to use the strongest characters, so one of them is fine. However, both K' AND Raiden is totally over did it. Moreover, the third character that person chose was Shen. This is totally over powered, even in tournament. I cannot show any respect to this person who made this team choice. It just not fair to those who choose other "normal" characters.

I really look down to those who choose both K' and Raiden in his team. I really do. For some reasons, I don't feel like they are using their real strength. Rather than that, I feel they are only using the strongest characters. I have absolutely no respect as a fighter for them.

Is this the Console version? I think K' is still over powered, although he doesn't look as bad as the arcade version. Kula is over powered either. I know she is strong, but I don't think she is that strong!?

I think SNK still have a lot to do with this game.

You can't get strong if you don't try and play.

Oh, I am playing Garou with omegaryuji. He is a super nice man and he taught me a lot.
If it is Garou, then I think I might join since I have some ideas what the system is going to be. However, not XIII. No, not at all. I can't fight over all those strong people. I don't think I can last for over 30 seconds! (I mean all three characters, not only one round)

Well you know, it always take some time to get used to a new system, and XIII has change a lot than other KOF, so I don't think you have to worry about taking time to practice (I practice a lot but still don't get used to fighting game yet). It is always fun to join a tournament since you don't get to lost anything if you lose or gain anything if you win. It is all about having fun and spend some time with those who also love KOF. I would join if I am strong, but I think I better don't show up to get laughed at...

If the online is good, this will be the first of many online tournaments through Dream Cancel!

It seems Atlus has put a lot of effort into it so I don't think you need to worry about it.
Let's think about if we actually going to have an online tournament, how is it going to be. I mean, how can the host (or how ever you call it) control the tournament when he's not personally in there?

Wow, this is fast! No place for my presentation and seems my cap can stay on my head for a little bit longer
I think I will use this mode to practice my combo, it should help me a lot in fighting games^^

Problem is that with fighting games is not that easy

For example, with a FPS, a racing game, or a sports game, is actually easy to hook up a friend to play along and that they get slightly hyped, those look cooler and moe easy to pick that lots of fighting games, hell, some people don't realize this, but for lots of guys, doing a simple qcf is like the most complicated thing ever, plus they get the feel that is not worthy since they could get raped for better players and don't see th investment of time worthy.

That being said, I'm not honestly that worried for sales, the game has his followers, not every capcom fan loves marvel, some of them are really expecting XIII, you had the atlus faithful who really loves the atlus brand, then you had the anime geimus fans, who love how the game looks, and some other guys. Even they could just save their ''monthly games money'' just 30 more days


The game no matter what will be released, is still basically created by guys who are expecting the game from a really long time (I will dar say some are expecting this for 4 years)

If a game like XII sold relatively well, this game should be fine I'm sure that Atlus and SNKP knew well the expectations from this game, and are not waiting like LOLZ BOOM PERIOD like some fans had wongly believed.

SNKP is from a long time a Niche company, they will be fine

I seriously doubt that. SNK did went bankrupt at 1999, remember? I wonder if the same thing can happen again. It is not impossible according to the economy today.

Clam down guys. If we have time to say this things here, why don't we do something? Try promote KOF to your friends or somewhere you can get to interact with people. I have a video game fair in my college and I am going to promote KOF there. I hope you all can give KOF a hand, I know you guys can do this.

yeah not like we haven't tried already im sure most of the people here have tried to introduce KoF to friends family co-workers etc we pull a few in every now and then but to be honest its hard to get people into fighting games if they dont have to much knowledge of them especially if the game happens to not be popular

Then start from the basic. Just try to have fun with them, don't think about combo or who win who lose, just try to have fun get beating up. When they feel comfortable with it, introduce them with this site and all the people around here, show them the KOF video of all the cool combo, show them how powerful they can become in this fighting games.
Don't say "I can't" before you did it. Even if you failed, try again! KOF need new players, and you guys all fighting here, nothing will change!
Try to do something!

Don't worry. I checked the date at the Japanese official site just now and everything stay the same. I don't think there will be any delay for the KOF XIII.

Guys, be cool! I have something to show you here. Look at the Japanese on the left hand corner. Don't understand it? I can tell you. It says "Release on October 27th, 2011." If the official site says so, then there is no reason to believe in the rumor.

Also, SNKP now is like holding their last breath and KOF XIII is their only chance to get back to life. I seriously don't believe they will give up this chance and try to crush with Takken. For a company like it, I don't think it is a very smart idea.
