Song selection, how does it work?

Is it like in arcade when you have to hold down a certain button? Or is there an option that lets you choose what songs come up?

I played with Color Edit in any of the games it's been in. Especially XI

So much that I used the nifty features that let you take palletes from other characters and even other preset colors from the same character.

I always do a "Sailor Mars" Athena (red skirt, white shirt, black hair). i even edited her special attacks to be in "fiery" colors. Athena as Kisarah Westfield.

Kula with her "normal" hair. Kula as K'. Kula as whip.

Purple suited Shingo.

Brown clothed Kensou.

Elizabeth as her XII/XIII versions. Ash as Saiki.

Although knowing match-ups is important, simply counter picking will get you but so far. It allk comes down to who's the smarter player anyway.

In KoF, counter picking isn't too important to me, because I pick characters with good themes. Sounds pretty lame but hey, that's why I want to pick up Saiki.

I am going to talk to FFA and see about recording and/or streaming matches there, then uploading on youtube.  I'll need some KOF commentators though...any takers?

I'll try it. I'm a KOF fanboy and know the characters well.

Hey guys!  New to the KOF scene, but long time fan.  After game release, I plan on having casuals in Van Nuys and making EGP (epic gamer productions) start hosting KOF13 tourneys.  I will be streaming at both locations and would love to meet you all! 

Van Nuys has a lot of KOF players but unfortunately they all stopped playing once the Plant closed their arcade. If you post your events here I'll contact some of to attend your tourneys.

Awesome!  That's great to know.  I'm pretty close to Family Fun Arcade in Granada Hills too, so I'll be there as well.  I'll let you guys know when stuffs going down for sure.  I'll be streaming and hosting casuals at my apartment too.

..as of now I only own KoF/SNK games on my PS2.

I do however play Mortal Kombat but once KoF XIII comes out I'll be playing the daylights out of it.

I play KoF XIII at FFA in Granada Hills though.
