you're definitely right a being able to dp i didn't even think about the first kick in my post. you can actually use a lot of fast invincible moves on the first kick ( enough time to do a blowback without using a meter and still hit).

 however they can tech a normal grab since you can tech grabs during recovery so that won't work.

Does anybody know how to punish kyo's double kick pressure he uses, for some reason i can't punish it with anything.

it is made so that the only way you can really punish it is with spending a meter on blowback, or if your character has a really fast command grab. it is a generally safe move to most of the cast.

i'm 21

my first game was street fighter 2 world warrior that i used to play at a gas station. It was the only cabinet they ever had and never got any of the newer versions. i was introduced to Kof a few years later.

oh yeah that mixup between blocking high and... oh no wait there is no other option; what the fuck are you talking about?

If you aren't familiar with the strike/strike mixup with rekkas of Fei Long, Iori, etc, you probably shouldn't take a tone like that. :P

blocking low will also be a good option since he can combo into rekkas from light attacks

For a beginner do you think this Kyo would be better then OG Kyo?

since we don't have the character yet it's hard to say. Also it really depends on what you're used to, but i'm thinking 13 kyo would be a better pick since the fire ball bait jump dp is a common playstyle in fighting games that is easy to adapt to.

couple questions on him so far;

I've seen his HyperDrive corner to be something along the line of  ;fd ;dn ;df ;c (or  ;a, not sure which works better),  ;bk ;dn ;db ;b... does he have anything a little looser? like maybe using Kai instead of that RDP kick? and is his NEOMAX motion really that easy? I was under the impression it was  ;bk ;db ;dn ;df ;fd ;bk ;db ;dn ;df ;fd ;a ;c

when i was first getting used to HD mode i used qcf d, rpd b, qcf b, dp a, qcf x2 into hcb d into neo max it does decent damage.

and yes his neo max is really qcf x2 ac
