i'm guessing there weren't as many pre orders because UMvC3 doesn't really have any bonus to preoredering it; many people probably didn't want to buy the same game they bought in February either.

Personally, I rather SNK take more time to make a better game than buy a crap game for an early release.

I truly hope KOF XIII can make a better number on sales. SNK put this much effort on it, they deserve to earn much on it.
I also hope this can make another peak for KOF. Maybe someday, KOF can truly become a fighting game that can compare to SF...Of course, I personally like KOF better.

i'm pretty sure we all hope it sells well but since we are in the fourth quarter of the year a lot of people who may have wanted to pick up the game might pass on it for a game they want more. KOF can definitely compare to SF in terms of gameplay, since i think XIII is a better game than sf4 (this coming from a sf player). It just doesn't have nearly as big a scene following it.

I have a question here: Is Flame-less Iori a powerful character or not? I heard that he is powerful, but I barely see him have some remarkable preferment.
Also, do any one have some suggestion on Iori and Shen's combo? I am pretty curious about it.

claw iori is a strong character, also to find combos that you should be during matches for any character you should check the wiki.

Another place you could find combos is on a youtube channel called don'tdropthatcombo the creator showcases quite a bit of combo potential for each character.

If the reason they delayed the game that long was so that they could improve important features within in the game  like to improve the netcode, is something that is most welcome to me. However I wouldn't mind having the game this tuesday either.

As Kane pointed out in the Console edition thread, it should give him a good, solid way to start HD off that particular situation. I'm sure he could have done it another way before , but having it work so close to the ground seems likd a great bonus to him for him, as it should make it easier to set the opponent into a "controllable" juggle state.

I think it's a smart change too, as it gives the normal more reason to exist. It wasn't all THAT useful in the past, and that's kinda odd for something they took the time to animate as a new move.

That makes the buff seem quite a bit clearer; i wouldn't have thought about using it in a HD combo since as you said it isn't used often.

how big of a buff is the ability to do  ;df ;c after a command grab. does it do more damage than dp + p into DM or any other variations of the combo?

The only kof experience i've had is in 98' and 94' and recently i've dabbled in 02, so i haven't had much experience with any of the newer games. my main fighting game is 3s, i play hdr and sf4 too though.

it was nice to see some gameplay of the lesser used characters in those matches; i've yet to see many ash players.
