Hi there Loryuo, and welcome to Dream Cancel. I agree with your opinion of SNK fighters, they've always had much more diversity as far as characters and playstyles go compared to other fighters.

Anyone else hoping the finals or GFs includes more than just Mr. Karate/Shen/EX Iori/Benimaru? I'm sure we'll see a Clark, Billy, or Kim maybe, but hoping players unknown to the US come with new tech for the lesser-used. Want to see at least one Chin, Ryo, Andy player getting big wins.

I'm sure Hwa will be thrown in there somewhere. And if we're lucky maybe Takuma or Kyo, maybe even Andy.

And as unlikely as it is, I would LOVE to see a Terry or Mai in GFs.

I hope both these things happen, plus a few things, like a relative unknown comes in and gives the regular pros some competiton (American non-SoCal if possible).

American AND non-SoCal? Seems unlikely.

Though I'm quite partial to the thought of BALA taking EVO, I am really excited to see all these players meet and show what they can do. If BALA gets beaten, that'd be a shame. But at least I'll know with all the talent to be shown at EVO, he put up a hell of a fight.

Anyway, as far as artists go, I would love a future KoF with Hiroaki as the principal artist. I'd love Shinkiro more, but that seems to be nothing short of a pipe dream.

Well if you're playing on PS3, you can just go onto the music player during gameplay and play something saved onto the XMB over the usual music.

Well actually, SNK has put 3D backgrounds in a lot of updated releases/console ports of KoF, like 98 and 99 Evolution on the Dreamcast, 94 Rebout, and XI on the PS2.

I like Ogura, but like Nona, his Athena is too anime. Doesn't mesh with the way he drew everybody else.

He actually drew this really nice looking Athena right here for XII, but unfortunately it was rejected.
