Mr. Karate / Re: EX Mr. Karate

Not super hard combo in the corner :

540 for 50% drive and 1 stock

J. ;c;c;fd+ ;a,  DP+ ;c, [break] DP+ ;a, DP+ ;a [DC]  hcf+ ;b, qcf, hcb+ ;a

Notes : you can try to cancel the  ;fd+ ;a a bit quicker to avoid it whiffing the last hit if you didnt touch them the closest possible, and you have to drive cancel when you're high after the DP or it'll whiff

How do you manage to do trial 5 with Raiden ? I have troubles doing  ;db ~ ;fd ;a DC  ;db;fd EX, not enough time to charge the EX version. Is there a trick to use the same charge for both moves ? Like sometimes i get a moon slasher A DC moon slasher EX with Leona.

You should actually do rdp+B, hcf+A. Don't try to skip the hcf by just doing qcf

There is no reason to do hcf+A as the game engine wants  ;bk  ;dn  ;fd for a half circle forward and you already have the  ;bk after your rdp, you just need to do  ;dn  ;fd  ;a to have the orochinagi.

for thec0r3, check if you do your rdp with the  ;db inside because for qcf/qcb motions the game needs the diagonals

QuoteWhy use Tenchi-Gaeshi (Forward, hcb, foward Punch) grab over the Chow Oosoto (SRK Grab)? They seem to have the same exact range. And it looks like the SRK grab is an easy cancel into grab super and Neo Max for 800 damage.

the hcb,f+P grab is 1F whereas the dp+K has a moment of startup where you are invincible (but they can jump)

General Discussion / Re: Netcode Lag/Delay Test Reports

I'm in France, near Paris. I have fiber optics, I quite commonly found people with 3/4 bars (and the game is not released yet haha). At 4 bars, it had almost 0 delay. With 3 bars, It was kind of random, got some matches with a bit more delay than 4 bars (I would say a GGPO delay), some matches were really delayed, with a real slowmode feeling, that made reactions a lot harder if impossible. I find playing with 1 or 2 bars not playable at all.
We have good connections here, so you might not rely on this.

Personnaly I only play the non-ranked mode set to 4 bars as host, and then wait in practice. Like said before, you can't host a ranked game and precise you want people with 4 bars, which is kind of stupid since you can do that in non ranked.

QuoteSo today I was trying the infamous Trial #5. That crap's not easy, but I learned a new skill. You can tiger knee with Terry by doing.  ~delay~  and he'll do rising tackle. This is how I learned how to beat Terry's Rising tackle [SC] Power Geyser combo. I believe you could do the same thing with Buster wolf just the other way.

Hi man, loved your participation to the topic. I've beat this trial by cancelling the rising with a burn knuckle, then a geyser. I'm pretty sure they intended to make us add extra moves in some combos, because DCing a rising tackle basically is almost 0 dmg, and for 1 DC and 1 stock you can do the bk DC crack shoot, rising tackle EX which does real damage. There was some pretty hardcore links in Kyo's trials too, that become quite easy with one or two special moves inserted at some points.
Anyway what would the tiger knee motion be useful for ? I don't see the point atm
