THE ANSWER commenting at The Runway Series? Cool! We need Juicebox and we have a KOF version of James Chen X Utlra David team. This needs to happen. Anyone knows if THE ANSWER comes to this forum?

Of course I do! ;) I'm glad you like my commentating, I'll try my best to attend everyweek.

Speaking of The Answer, he confirmed that KOFXIII will indeed be getting another shot at MLG Anaheim.

Yes sir! we are all very hyped about it and we are going to support this event to the fullest. At the end of the day to me it doesn't matter if it's MLG or the FGC hosting the tournaments, I'll support those who support the game I love. I wish more people could start seeing it that way :)

Hi guys a reminder this tournament is this weekend! Also I've added a rule about the button reconfiguration.

Buttons Configuration: Each team is allowed 1 button reconfiguration per match so this means that if one of your team members uses a different configuration than the other 2 he can only be position going first or last not in the middle since that will prompt 2 button reconfigurations

Ex Kyo / Re: EX Kyo (NESTS)

For those of you who missed my stream last night, I demonstrated a new bug/technology that I found a few days ago.

Pretty much if you max Cancel to his NeoMax he gets special any where juggle properties on his Neo Max so it will connect in any situation.

The easiest way to test this is activate Hyper Drive Mode, jump and hit your opponent with CD (No Counter hit needed) then before they hit the ground do Orochinagi and right away Max Cancel it into Neo Max, the Neo Max will connect all the time.

P.S. Kula can also do this but that's for her thread.

« on: December 16, 2011, 07:38:04 PM »
SCR 2011 FAQs:

1. Last minute registrations will be open from 8am-9am
2. Last munite registration fee will be $50 venue and $10 for KOF.
3. Tournament will start at 10am
4. SCR does not provide joysticks this is a BYOC/S tournament. (there might be kind people who will let you borrow a stick but don't count on this)
5. If you are participating in another event please make sure you let one of the STAFF members know, YOU WILL be disqualified if you just walk away without notifying the staff that you are stepping away even if it's for another event.
6. We have tried to seed players by region, if we missed something please let us know and we will do our best to seed you in at least the first round.

The day is here, best of luck to ALL!!!!!

Keeping it real, Arcade Fantaztico is where I first started hosting tournaments with Team Chaos and K-Force back in the day. We were cool with the owner and everything he would set up the KOF 02 cabs to tournament mode for us, however one day after we stopped hosting tournaments TC was there for casuals and one of the buttons wasn't working properly so they asked the owner to replace. The owner went to the machine tighten the button (not replace it) and left, after a few games the button started malfunctioning again so they told the owner again, but this time instead of the owner replacing the button he asked all of them to leave, seriously he just pointed to the door and asked the whole group to leave.

Since then they haven't been back and if they don't support this venue I won't either. Maybe it's under new ownership or something but they are my friends so I gotta show some loyalty.

@DreamCancel Staff:

Just in general not directed to this venue, with the release of the game there might be a few more people who will try come and promote events, I suggest you make a new rule or screen the promoters or TOs who want to promote events on this site.
