aah okay i see. with regards to the tnt punch , i find it easier to double tap with the A rather than the C.

The second tnt punch is the one i struggle with the most. Only one punch should hit, i usually get 2.

I'm working on the dizzy combo as well, this one in particular

KOFXIII: Joe (Midscreen, 0.8 Stock, 78% Drive)

I have found double tapping the TNTs and buffering  ;dn ;db ;bk between the doubletaps really helps with clean inputs, so inputs look like this with display on

 ;c
 ;c
 ;bk
 ;db
 ;dn
 ;c
 ;c

I get the perfect TNT every time due to this.

However I am having a hard time understanding the juggle count at the end (after burning both drive bars and using TNT for a couple hits then jump  ;d for dizzy). Sometimes I'll get the TNT to hit, sometimes it wont, sometimes I'll get one hit but not 2 before the 214 and be unable to jump D, sometimes I'll get it all, but it's hard to figure out WHY exactly.

I was thinking maybe it has something to do with how many hits of TNT they get hit by at the end, but it's not easy to test so if anyone has come across this issue before please share some information as I am so close to getting this dependably every time.

EDIT: My problem was I was not mashing out TNT fast enough at the end (for the final part, doubletapping disrupted my rhythm!), I'm now hitting this combo with ~75% accuracy. Still working on getting a clean launch after the 2nd hit of TNT, but at that point it's a reset to stun anyways so dropping it isn't the worst thing on the planet.

thanks for the info and the video , this helped a lot. i like doing it this way, i dont have it down yet , but im practicing. Joe is a beast. Is it possible to do a 100% combo with joe?

thanks dude , Im glad you liked the videos, will post the Grand finals soon as its available.

there were quite a few players . Here is the challonge link to the tournament:

http://ctsapr2012.challonge.com/kofxiii

It was held kinda late at night, so a few players left before the tournament, even though they had registered. Also due to time constraints we could only have 1st to 1's and then the finals were first to 2's.

just looking at the way you play you have no real type of defense so you would have to build up your defense around your offense but your offense is kinda sloppy. your yuri is real good but ur kusanagi and your takuma need a little more work. with ur nagi you should work on ur combos more u kept dropping his BnBs and also i noticed u kept gettin lost like u didnt know that his second jump  ;dn ;c would cross up after the first gets blocked so would have to learn to keep up with his speed as well as learn the distance of his moves

when it comes to takuma it looks more like you dont know how to use him when he get pressured or when someone jumps in. he has options to get people out of the air plus u b sittin on alot of meter so you can neo max any time to shut them down in the air.

Thanks for the feedback I will defintely start training my ex kyo in spacing, What I dont understand , and i hope you can elaborate on this, is the options takuma has against pressure? I dont see how blowing a neomax for anti air purposes is feasible at all because he needs little meter todo big damage and if a neomax wiffs its goodbye to all your meter.

Im glad it wasnt just me that thought the kof gameplay was abit meh. Compared to the gameplay ive seen in the states, the states is defintely better looking.

Haitani didnt do takuma justice at all. he was doing sC,f+B into dm. wtf? his AA dm was mostly fail too. I didn't see them do a lot of drive cancels either.
