The wait during lobbies isn't that bad most of the time though, i mean just get some mics or make a chat room, and of course spectator mode.

...I'm talkin like 4 man lobbies here, 6 at most because 8 is way to long of a waiting time for me and for everybody else id say.

The tier list we really need...is a canon tier list.

I hope snk includes a rematch option after match online with their patch.

What about lobbies?

One thing that made me hate SSFIV is endless lobby, it made finding matches really hard because everyone just has 4-8 man lobbies open, so you have to wait a long time just for your turn in which the host might randomly kick you i rather just have player matches like in MVC3 with a rematch option after you finish a match and quickly go at it rather than picking characters all over again.

I mean just regular lobbies though, i dont see what they can hurt, MVC3 has them too.

I turned 17 about a week ago, been playing fighting games since i was 6 starting with Tekken Tag, VF, and Bloody Roar (still wondering wheres that ps3 remake they need at. :() I somehow got into 2D fighters like last year ish (MvC2)

So far i only converted 1 person over to the magic addiction of fighting games around my age ;)

Happy belated birthday, and keep up the recruiting; tis important to the community that the young and old play, not just those in the middle. And if you can, let them sample both 2D and 3D.

Thanks, and it'd be easy to recruit people if they weren't so afraid of spam...or at least were until they played me.

For some reason every match except for 2 or 3 I had online in this game has some type of random lag for me, and it usually comes at the worst times.

Also I think a 2D fighter without projectiles is madness.

I think i might borrow Disgaea 4 from my friend and play it some, other than that nothing but KOF 13 and UMvC3

Thanks, and lol i put it down at the counter of gamestop and left it (was talking to my friend and getting money out to buy another set of games) and walked back home thinking 1 of us had it...the forces keeping me from playing the game were strong

Training Room / Re: Which notation do you prefer?
« on: December 24, 2011, 12:39:59 AM »
I thought you were going to ask about preferring, say, LP to A, or HK to D. I have to admit, I'm finding it hard to get used to A, B, C, D rather than LP, LK, HP, HK. It wouldn't be so bad if A and B were punches and C and D were kicks. Every times I see people using the KOF notation, I have to stop and figure it out.

This is what I was thinking, i think i've only seen d.a for tekken or something.

Meet & Greet / Sup

Thought id make a topic here for no reason in particular to introduce myself never played an SNK game before, but after a 2 hour walk in the rain with an injured ankle on 2 hours of sleep for the day and having to buy the game twice, i finally got to play one! (The newest KOF) And I think its the most fun i've had playing a game in a while...then again i better enjoy it after all of that lol, but man is doing combos in this game hard (or just figuring out everything in general). Got directed here while looking for help for where to start on gamefaqs so i decided to make an account.

Oh yea I hope the new KOF will be at EVO so i have a reason to go, maybe with a little more advertising it'll be a shoe-in.

btw if anyone is wondering, i'm in the MD area
