it doesnt connect as a combo but it hits low while the starting frames seems more like  ;fd ;a so the opponent may try to stand and block.

I dont usually use the HSDM ... but doing it after an over head will give you a good chance to hit specially if u use the  ;a ;c version

I will share some of my tricks here
for frame traps
- hob  ;uf  ;b;dn  ;a;bk ;db ;dn ;df ;fd  ;b  > ;dn ;df ;fd  ;b will connect most of the time since  ;dn ;a give you frame advantage.

-  whiffing ;fd ;a while the opponent on the ground will make him want to punish you so  ;fd ;df ;dn ;db ;bk x2  ;b will surprise him if you did it right.

-  doing  ;a ;c >   ;bk ;df  ;c on block > then delaying   ;bk  ;c as much as you can will also hit if he tries to move and it will be safe on block since he will be far from Xiangfei, or you can walk and normal/ command/ Super  grab while he is waiting for the 3rd hit.

speaking of super grab:
you can cancel the over head  ;fd ;a into a super grab (if he is blocking low) by ;fd ;df ;dn ;db ;bk x2  ;b ;c but it will take 2 meters
same can be done with  ;fd ;b (if blocking while standing)

well you probably know that by now

Bao hob  ;dn  ;a can be a very good cross up hit and have top priority and heavy impact
after landing the hit confirming is pretty easy with s.  ;d activate  ;d and go on
you need to know the required distance for landing the jump  ;dn  ;a as a cross up or fake cross up hit (your challenger may be fooled and guard in the wrong direction)

you can do this mix up on matches
jump  ;dn  ;a;up  ;a;dn ;b if he is blocking low
or jump  ;dn  ;a > cr.  ;b > s.  ;d (very strict timing to link in a combo but can be done with practice) and then activate and continue your combo

back dash  ;dn ;db ;bk ;c is safe on block and very good anti air

I have too many tricks with bao and I will share them if any one is still interested to post here about 2002um....!

that 2002 hits comes a lot actually specially if your Xiangfei have less than 10% left while the other character have 50+%


I'm planning to make a video about Xiangfei
there are many things people dont know about her
as for me she is the fastest and strongest In my team (Hinaku, Xiangfei and Bao) and I know how to abuse her tiny hit box against all characters

even in my area we had a small community but now they either went back to 02um or just stopped playing KOF
now I can hardly find any one to challenge offline
I believe the game is not as much competitive or fun as KOF02um

Since we are talking about PC does anyone know if the SFIV arcade fightstick tournament edition for PS3 works on PC? I've tried but I couldnt get it to work.

I like fast and aggressive characters
thats why most of my characters are females  ;)
a character who have command grabs and Counters suits me so well
but of course If I loved a character no matter how good its I will master it and do my best using it
i play Hinaku, Bao and Xiangfei in KOF02um and I believe its the strongest team ever
speaking of the characters I love
KOF XIII dont have any of my favorites and I find the cast boring and simple with less moves and more invincibility

SNK will not update KOF XIII any more

NO. to Mr.KARATE nerf.

I prefer giving all the other characters good options and moves like Mr. Karate and the game will be perfect.
he is so fun to play not like many of the simple characters in the game.

the KOF XIII scene here is still growing. many players are coming from other FGC's like SF and Tekken.
while the KOF players are mainly playing KOF02UM.
but we are doing good
hopefully soon our KOF XIII scene can become as good as KOF02um and 3rd strike ones.

Btw what is the point of a digital download at this point?

It will be cheaper and can be shared with 2 consoles. so its good for the consumers at least.
