Much Respect to Ladybutterfly Vice. Nice to see some else dedicated to playing with her, a excellent KOF female player for that matter in the Grand Finals. I say again much respect, her vice is way better then mine, im taking some notes. lol

Wish i could be there for you guys scene.

Does she have something in particular that puts her "above" Mature in terms of versatility???

She has trouble against fireballers and speedy characters so if you ever run into a Athena/Choi/Mai you may have some trouble.

If notice that also, while I pursed to start playing with her at a high competitive level against charcters like Athena/Choi/ and especially Mai for me. Thanks for the info, I play with Vice alot. She is always in my top 3 characters since '96. She one of the only characters I've learned to play well at a high competitive level, next to Yamazaki.

One of these days I might work on some kind of matchup chart for her since I like her so much and want excel my skill furthermore with her. If i have the time to put aside to do so I'll be sure to put it up so i can try to do my part to help the community, one of these days =). Because for me she does have her bad matchups in terms of versatility but for the most part I ambitiously still manage with her. Shes my fav.

If SNKp really has extra characters planned for a console release, I'd say let it be more Ash saga characters (Oswald, Malin, Momoko), (Botan, Rimelo, Shroom [Those From the Past]), (someone, Rose, Adelheid). I'm kind of hoping these are down-the-line downloadable characters, meaning less to delay the console release. I know most would rather not have to pay extra for additional characters like lots of other fighters, but these are fighters would be worth it to me.

Yea, I feel that if they most likely would add characters it would be from the Ash Saga. Like Oswald, Malin, & Momoko. Furthermore,  I think Oswald has a high chance of being in since Oswald was Shen Woo's, and Ash's teammate in the past.

I would love to see my favorite Real Bout character Yamazaki. I feel Yashiro, Chris, & Shermie would fit in well in KOFXIII. Yashiro's Jet counter, and Upper Duel in Hyper Drive would look cool as hell IMO.

 

97' Yamazaki was OP. I would love to see him in XIII I think he would fit in perfectly specially with the HD system, however maybe his 02' version thou it's more balanced but still really good.

I know we are proly going to see more about the console release next year, but what I'm worried about is that the new people who were considering crossing over from other games will lose interest for lack of news by then since they will proly be over hyped by this other new games.

Truth is, the ppl that do lose interest probably wouldn't have stuck around long enough anyways.  Something that small that'll sway them would probably make them just casual players; we need players that want to learn and get good at the game.

I feel you kane & Answer, thats what my post earlier was somewhat regarding to.

By the way, Had a argument with emil on SRK & damn is he a brick wall of stubbornness, that ambitiously backs  his opinions up mostly by invalid statements. He's a good guy, a good KOF fan but, his stubbornness overshadow's his attitude & opinions towards other KOF players outside of the Korean heritage. He puts them on a pedestal.

Anyways great read this, letters should be posted up front page on more fighting gamer websites IMO. Reach out to as much people as it possibly can.

IMO, SNK needs a Hype man (they need to advertise as said before), some one who show up at Gaming events and etc. and show it off (Advertise the game) like F.E.(Seth Killian of Capcom), you know..try to build a crowd. Now i know SNK does not have deep pockets at the momment, but it would be nice if they could at least do that, just one person to these events. One person to do a couple american interviews for gaming enterprises like SRK, G4TV and etc. You know try to keep us occasionally updated on whats going on. So they can encourage more the Gaming community to try out KOF. You know get some of these stubborn brainwashed players ( SFIV Crack heads. Lmfao).... fighting game players to try out KOF

Or try to send some offers and deals to other arcades that are still active in america that dont have any KOF game Cabs period so they can try to make a little profit of that. The point is i wish they could advertise a tad bit better. I feel where yall coming from.

Sounds cool, Im also sooner or later when I have time, (cause I'm extremely busy for awhile trying to get employment at the moment so i cant play much at all). Try to get in contact with Chibi Death A.K.A. Rogue Yoshi, he is in South Philly, im in North philly he plays KOF and many other games.

Once I have the time & money to put aside to meet him i can get some offline practice in.

Greetings  ream  ancel, Just wanted to introduce my self.

Oh yes i like me some KOF im average but still learning every match. 98 and 2002 I really like but my favorite is Neowave even though it kinda died. Neowave was my favorite because the character select theme, and the characters in general, and many other reasons. Like how Jhun was in the game and Kim was hidden behind him. Also, of course being able to play as Young Geese which is one of the slickest versions of him. Furthermore, the "Just Defend" System. But yes Im a big fan of many SNK games in general.

A little detail of some of my favorite SNK games are

KOF series : Heavy D, Yamazaki, Vice , and Mature, Chin...and Many more
Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 - with Yamazaki, and Rick Strowd
Fatal Fury : Special - with Axel Hawk
Garou : Mark  of the Wolves - Kim Jae Hoon, a little Kim Dong Hwan, and B. Jenet

But yeah greetings all. Happy to be apart of the site =)
