thats easy, i dont really play or main k (i can obviously play him since i did play him before). the thing im having a hard time with is dp into fb during combos. also in corner ex fb into ;fd ;a x2 is harder than it should be.

i think the way button config works now is fine, press button config is a lil easier but the difference is minimal and not even worth complaining bout.

the horseshit they call netcode, hud options etc need bigger improvements and way more urgently.

what about eu release? also eu should get a discount for ior since they fucked us over with that one here in the EU (eu got fucked with iori, us with kyo, seems jpn or asian version would have been best). these lucky 360 fuckers.

yeah some small terry titbits.

when combing in hd mode and you cancel into crackshoot  ;d version, you always gotta do it as late as posssible so all 4 hits ofthe crackshoot hit. this way you can easiyl juggle afterwards. if you hitthem too early youcant juggle them or you gotta do it real quick like with a ex rising tackle, but like in the vid even then they bounce off after only a few hits.

and i was tripping as well in training mode, during the normal terry hd combo (same one mr kof did) ifyou hit them with the busta wolf really high and your a lil further from the corner than usual, the trinnety geyser hit 4! times. that HUGE damage. they do fall real quicklyafterwards so i dont know know for sure if its possible to  juggle afterwards, guy in vid used1 ex bk in his combo as well, i dont and only use normal busta wolf and NM (thus 3 bars, so maybe an exbk or busta/exbusta might connect afterwards.

hwa seems nice enough, combo into drink and combo. near corner only, 2 and 3 bars and full drive.

jump ;c air  ;dn ;db ;bk ;b standing  ;c ;df ;b, ;dn ;df ;fd ;a ;c (sc) ;dn ;db ;bk ;dn ;db ;bk ;c, ;fd ;dn ;df ;b (dc) ;dn ;db ;bk ;d, ;dn ;db ;bk ;d, ;dn ;db ;bk ;d, ;dn ;db ;bk ;b, ;dn ;db ;bk ;b, ;dn ;df ;fd ;a, ;dn ;df ;fd ;a, now for the 1 bar finisfer do instant air   ;fd ;dn ;df ;b ;d and 2 follow ups in the direction you wanna fly. 597 damage and you remain drunk for an additional 5 or so seconds (might land dragon back breaka for that hardd extra damage after the combo when still drunk).

for an extra dm bar you could also finish the combo with an ex dm instead of ex dp for bout 750 damage or something along those lines. i couldn't get the normal ;dn ;df ;fd ;dn ;df ;fd ;b or ;d or ground ex dp to connect for the combo that used 1 dm bar less. you gain a bar and 1/4 with the combo so that's a nice bonus.

edit: what are people opinions bout hwa? his drinking makes him really good but comboing into it is more for show than anything else cause he can do that same damage more easily without wasting that much bar without going drunk. i think it it was cheaper to combo in to drinking and combo on wouldhave made him too op, now its fun to use  but really not neccesarry.

I'm hoping for a critique. Currently my team is King/Andy/Robert so that I can grasp the fundamentals and apply them across all 3 characters more or less the same. I already know I need work on Andy and Robert's HD combos, though I would like suggestions for what their HD combos should be in general.

I think my experience with SF makes playing King really intuitive for me. I'm pretty sure she'll be first on my tournament team. Totally open to switching the others, so right now I'm learning more characters to see what playstyles I like. Probably going to learn Hwa next, I hear he's GDLK.

dont have timeright now, but king is a good choice for you if your familiar with sf. robert and andyare allsoreally good, but like yousaid their worthwhil hd combostake time to learn. i think youd do well with zoning characters at first cause you come from a sf bg, characters like ash, king, kim, duo long. duo and kimmight be too tough thouh at first, a lot of characters actually take time to master and own with. its not like you can pick rog or blanka and ease through your good matchups by holding  ;db. problem with 13 is that if you really wanna use a character effectivelly and be good with them, you actuallyneed to master a lot of shit like hd combos, activating them from lows, dc combos and all other shit you need  to learn with every other fighter. your luc is that king is highly easy, effective and can easily combo in hd.

ill check some vids when i gotthe time.

dudes cool, loves samurai shodown (straight up best series ever conceived that never really turned great because snk wanted tomake kofmore popular and mainstream, these fucking bitches). also the characters he likes are actually the characters i like. it doesnt seem like he really knows 13that well judging  from hisreview, but  its clear he loves what he sees. so do i, now if onlywe couldsee a ss in better than kof 13 style (made by ss64 artist).

u mean the ice stage? the one that's almost as boring as the stadium stage?

also osaka > any stage in the game, and that's without accounting the haohmaru cameo in the bg.

same problem as me, i could do it and the shortcut worked, till i tried it in hd combos and after  ;c ;fd ;b, shit dont work no more. im gonna try that other guys shortcuts, ;fd ;db ;fd than cancel that into  ;dn ;df ;fd.

vice is the best character online, especially with lag. dp+P becomes an instant throw from far and reversal against her after a knockdown is xtra hard to time with lag.
