will i be able to buy dlc characters for eu version from us store or vice versa?
and KBN, my bf3 and mw3 ranks must be banging. some of the fighters in my ps3 list where quit impressed with it. i think they don't have a clue they playing with my lil bro and not me.
and here i was thinking i was bout to get the nicest guy in the world award...., asshole i surely didn't deserve though.
also i thought you was older than that running wild. in my days sf2 and later on ss2 where basically the mw games of that era. i think sf2 was the reason for the rise of fighters and the cult statis it got, and at the same time the reason for it's demise with all the updates instead of a true sequel. good thing almost 20 years later people got even more retarded than the 90's and re still buying every little sf update and even costumes to boot. ignorance is bliss like they say.
too bad im stuck posting here instead of playing XIII, so expect more bitching and moaning till next friday.
I thnk that the problem with the SRK article, is that how can you post an article with only one impression, before the game gets street dated, and overall, give a judgement just like that
People here says that the netcode is awesome, others than is not that good, we just could tell after the game is released

EU got delayed, i would have loved to give you guys a hardcore, critical yet unbiased review for the online but im sol 2.
some things though, ssf4 is to this day the best netcode ever made for fighters, but it still sucked imo (not even comparable to offline). i don't knot if 13 netcode is truly only as good as sf4, but if so its kind of embarrassing theres still no better netcode available imo. at least it will be playable this time around.
also don't play on samsung leds, they lag as hell (like during some 13 eu show).

MK has multiplayer locked on region(i think some genius at NR thought it will be a brilliant idea!!!! ).I have a region 1 disc and i cannot play someone with a region 2 disk here in europe (when me or him send an invite to play and accept it... it says please insert MK disk!) this is why i asked

Ahhh, so you're saying it was a Europe-only style issue. Yeah, I skimmed, lack of sleep!Anywho, hope that doesn't happen for you guys. Was there a difference in content (like some kinda censorship) in the European edition? Or a difference in the Hertz the games run at or something? That's a pretty odd issue.
The game clearly states "Worldwide netplay" on like... every single company website and packaging scan available. How often has anyone seen region-locked online play?
The Blog update from this very week even says we have the option to select a region filter, right? Why would anyone think the online play would be region locked?!?
The only thing that could be region locked is the game disk itself (and mostly on 360, since most PS3 games are region free.)
The game itself being region locked to consoles of different regions, wouldn't be too suprising though. Especially if each region had some specific translation work done, or if they just want to keep members of each region from trying to buy other regions editions, to get foreign preorder /special edition bonuses. But we won't know details on that until release, or near it.
I can't think of one fighter I've played this generation... or even the last one, really, that had region locked online play. I remember lagging with the Japanese players on DOA, screaming in horror at foreign play on Hyper Fightings atrocious netcode, being fairly impressed with them on HD Remix, and meeting people from all areas of the world on NGBC and 2K2UM online...
Three different publishers: Atlus, SNK, and RSG. All for different regions. I am pretty sure it's going to be region locked.
Actually, it could go either way because the most probable reason for snkp using multiple publishers is that it just puts less strain on a now relatively small company. Hopefully online is region free though having it locked should atleast help keep some laggy games away i guess.
