Yea, it becomes a apparent that something can't be right if in 13 where the ground run / dashes are supposedly faster, you don't see that many under dashes. (Contrary to XIV where the speed and seeming floatiness of the jumps allows for more)

King still has one of the best move sets. Her max mode game is top notch, venom strike becomes double strike etc

Watched a whole bunch of videos. From the research done, all hitting light attacks are red sparks regardless of Rush.

Yes you have to be standing to start the rush chain. But can you use rush from a far A? I've all ways seen it start from a close A tbh.

Nice, 3 disc ost with over 60 tracks. Wonder if Europe will be getting access to a premium edition.
consecutive reds into a super or ender, mostly with normals that look "new" or from old times Are indicators for a rush combo.
The only limitTion I heard of was that it had to be grounded.

I highly doubt they wil harm XIV. As I said before in Stunfest the barely used them and once you are secure enough (got the bread and butter combos down in practice), the rush combos become obsolete as their damage is limited (can't follow up after the DM) and in general does less than inputting the moves yourself would.

I've had this discussion on the Dreamcancel Discord and came to the conclusion that the only time it's worth for someone  who could do the combo anyway to use rush, is if it would 100% kill the opponent for a kill secure. (I.E. only 12% life left but don't want to botch the combo)

They don't interfere as long as you dont tap to the point where it does the finisher. Also the music from The FF Stage fits like a glove.

If you are a skilled player you can virtually ignore it. Barely anyone used it at Stunfest.

I can only add that Hein is a German name, and iirc geese is half German. Hein (or Hain, like Samhain) is the short form of Heinrich (engl. Henry). Hein stands for "home(-land), "rich" (wealthy) or simply "Mighty"'

There is also folklore about a "Freund Hein" or "Gevatter Hein" (trnsl. Friend Hein or Father Hein), a personification of Death.

He also has an uncanny resemblance to Faust/Faustus from black butler (Kurotsuchi?), who also shares a German name from Goethe's book Faust.



OR... I'm reading too much into it xD

I personally don't play Mai but I'm glad she's got moves in this game that give her more of an edge than in XIII, because I like character diversity in tournaments. She can use her new DM as a wakeup / reversal tool and that ex fan combined with her ex musabI no Mai (which seems to switch sides in EX), is a great two-front mixup tool.

I'm very happy with the changes SNK has made to the movelists of most characters. I just wish that Kim's climax would be more like its 2k2UM variant with the Phoenix up kick, but that's just a small thing xD
