Online Matchmaking / Fightcade
« on: November 20, 2014, 12:39:54 PM »
Fightcade.com

Fightcade is a new online gaming networking platform based on GGPO that offers a much bigger game libary, including much requested classics like The King Of Fighters 1995, Karnov's Revenge, World Heroes, and the Real Bout Fatal Fury series, it even has hot garbage like SNK vs Capcom Chaos. With the original GGPO having alot of downtime lately, and also the possibility of SuperArcade shutting down, this is the next best thing.

Spread the word about it, it's still very new, and not alot of people are aware of it yet. I'll also be down for matches with anybody here, especially in Real Bout 2.

Meet & Greet / I Never Made One

I'm RunningWild, been active here for quite some time, but never made one of these threads, so anyways - My favorite games are Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 and Garou:Mark Of The Wolves. I'm a huge fan of old school fighting games in general, and I tend to ignore newer games.

http://www.youtube.com/user/RunningWildVidya Is my channel, I do mostly random nonsense, but I've been doing GGPO+Supercade sessions, sometimes with live commentary and stuff. If you wanna match me in RB2 or something, hit me up.

I have a PS3, but I'll be honest, I rarely play on it. I have nearly every fighting game available, but like I said, I tend to ignore the newer games lol. I just prefer being in front of my laptop with access to every arcade fighting game I could want. If more recent fighting games hit the PC, I'd drop my PS3 in a heartbeat.

And that as some would say, is that.

Social Club / King Of Fighters Comics

This was the only site I could find with some English translated KOF comics, and most of them are incomplete - http://www.mangafox.com/manga/king_of_fighters/

Some of them are lulzy.

KOF Kyo IMO is the best one.

I know the 2k3 comic had an official english release through DrMaster years ago, but I can't find it. There was an SvC Chaos comic too.

There's also comics for the Real Bout Fatal Fury series which are pretty awesome Garou:MOTW, Buriki One... there's alot of them. It's nuts.

Here's a snippet from the Buriki One comic of Robert's radical transformation -

SNK Games / Favorite SNK Fighting Series

Take your vote. Of course I'm expecting KOF to dominate the poll, but I can't help but be curious what the general consensus of other prominent fighting series on the Neo-Geo are.

You can vote for 2 titles.

Yeah, this has got to go. I can't even click on images to open them up in a new tab to full-view'em, let alone save them. It's lame.

Real Bout 2 / Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 General Discussion
« on: July 31, 2010, 07:30:20 AM »
One of my all time favorites, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 is the follow-up to Real Bout Fatal Fury Special. The system has been fine tuned, and the controls have been tightened up a notch. DM/SDM move commands have been streamlined and somewhat simplified, for example, Geese's Raging Storm is now executed with  ;fd, ;bk ;db ;dn ;df ;fd instead of the classic pretzel command. Alot of characters also gained new chain combo's, tweaks to their special moves, etc. Some of the characters in RBS that had an EX mode like Mary and Billy have been changed up and gained new moves.

This thread on SRK has pretty much everything you could want regarding the game, it is an old thread, but still good - http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/the-new-real-bout-2-thread-irc-matchmaking-srksnk-on-efnet-gogogo.39948/

For Blue Mary players, I recommend checking out Ghostpilot's video showcasing some of her stuff, it's not complete, but worth a watch -

My Favorite Part Of Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 - For the lulz

I'm up for a game of RB2 anytime, I really need to practice again. I got trolled hard by Caddie's Duck King recently, made me pumped up to play again. RB2 is loads of fun, sometimes I like it even more than MOTW.
