I came back to play XI because they announced a XI tournament in Versus Brazil Tournament.
Currently I'm using Griffon, Kim and Gai. But I don't know how is Gai's competitive metagame. I don't know if there is a JP wiki showing how is Gai metagame but no one use this character. At least Griffon is getting more players recently (together with Silber)
I use Gato or Iori in Gai's place for offensive couterpick

This year's Versus Brazil Tournament will be special, finishing the "Brazilian KOF Major Season". And it's not just XIII. KOF XI will be there too! And Justin Wong is the invited player this time.

Really hype. I was surprised for Tokido using Hwa's Cachaça in every Hwa round, when other Hwas already offer Danger without it.
And Thiago Moby (Rio de Janeiro KOF XIII Champion) has defeated Combofiend in "Losers Semi-Finals #3". And this is Moby's first National Tournament appearance. I've already predicted Moby being top 3 and did it right.
Unfortunately, Moby didn't defeated Kléber but I'm hype for the 2nd battle of them in Versus Sampa or Brazil Tournament.

And as UNIB is from Type-Moon/Ecole (they're same shit), so, they'll only port 2 years after the arcade relase and as mere extra from a crappy anime BD (as Melty Blood Current Code was) and JP only

And of course I like Melty Blood so much, but playing just one game sucks as I'm FG addict.
1.1 dump sucks a lot. No Saiki, No DLC chars, just Raiden.
At least I can emulate GGAC perfectly in Makaron for VS and PCSX2 (some stages) for training mode.
Same situation for BBCS2/E in jpcsp but I can't play local VS : (
I don't play online, so I don't mind if there is netcode, if its arclive, ggpo, whatever.
Edit: One more thing:OUGON MUSOU KYOKU ABC META ABC TAG ABC DASH ABC STUN ABC SUCKS!

And I regret to upgrade my pc for playing JUST ONE GAME (Melty Blood) instead of buying PS3/360 and miss KOFXIII Climax, BBCS Extend, GGAC+, P4A, Skullgirls, etc.
