Congrats to the winners Pedro and Violent Kain.. ^^

Its sad to see a player like Mr kof who was once 3rd best in Socal only behind Bala and Reynalds, to not even make it out of pools and to top it off getting OCVed by Kula..

Overall I'm happy with the results, but would rather have AirLancer or Mr. KOF in the top 8 than Chris G.

AirLancer

Lol, well, that's my bad. I had ChrisG in the winning HD combo that would've knocked him out of the tournament, but fucked up and then he killed me. Haha...

KLSADAKO

Im actually happy to see Chris G place very high.  at least he's still playing kof 13...

The scary thing is, if he actually spent some time in learning some basic HD combos he can be even more dangerous..

I don't really have anything against Chris G like a lot of players. I completely understand his position. He needs to make money in order to support his habit, so he practices the games which will net him the most reward.

The reason I would rather see the other players win is because most of the other players support the KOF community in some fashion. That's pretty much it.

Entering in a KOF game, playing and winning is supporting the KOF community too. All forms of activity in a game is supporting it.

Even so, I still want to see the active community members pull it out. At least he gives me a clear option to root for when viewing. I wasn't so lucky when Malik, and LazieFreddy faced each other.

In a tournament you can't stop your favorite players from not playing each other, plus it was very far in the bracket that they faced each other. If you play the game, sign up for the tournaments and do well, you're just as active as the next person who is a "community" member who provides news, content and help organizes the scene.

That's what happens when you think a part of the country is not that strong. Believe it or not he said he hadn't been practicing & I didn't see much of him outside of the tournament or in the KOF suite. Some people see pot bonuses & May think they'll finish in the $ free but that's not always the case plus AirLancer deserves more credit, he placed 2nd in the recent High Stakes Battle Royale which was $25 per head in KOFXIII singles & beat Mario E. twice. Lesson is, come fully prepared as best as you can knowing you're going to any event cause you never know who wants your head. Also thanks 6let for posting this, I think the final # of entrants was 44~48
