Missed a lot of local tournament announcements, so I expected a lower turnout that what we got, but 15 participants and a 7-hour long tournament was better than expected. Some new champions this time around, several newcomers who will hopefully be back for more matches, and a special mention to Jay-1andONLY1, the guy currently ranking 3rd in Online for KOFXIII, and received no losses today. Some great play from all over the world this time. I'll admit that this one was exciting since I got to participate too, but hopefully even more show up next time and more great matches are had.

Wow... that many points? Sweet!

Btw, since we notice most of us can fight each other, even if we are damn far, we should try to do an actual bracket tournament.

Maybe do the bracket and then tell the people to test their connection, if they are playable then just keep them like that, if not, make small modifications to the bracket and presto.

Anyways, it was great to fight everyone online on this DC Learning Tournament as I like to call it. lol

And thanks to SolidShark for organizing this tournament, great stuff, but also sorry for keeping you distracted while you were getting the scores and trying to organize the event. =P

I think if you start running brackets then you end up with people not being able to make it to the tournament. Part of the reason I like this format is that people can show up at any time during the time allotted and still get some matches. True the person who gets there on time has a better chance of having more matches but at least more people get a chance to play. On top of that it still kind of goes back to the format that was being run before with the 1st to 10's on GGPO.
