Which KoF to start practicing in?
« on: July 19, 2011, 05:09:16 AM »
I have played and own almost all the KoF's. However playing casually against friends who don't really play fighters alot or playing those who don't play KoF enough. Trying to figure out what would be a good starting point since XIII is just around the corner. Which version is similar to XIII execution wise because mine is really iffy. Also trying to get a few friends more into the game.

XI is a PS2 game. You could probably play it without much difficulty.

OG 2002 is also a great KOF for practice, as it will definitely test your execution.  You have to be pretty sharp to do the more advanced combos in 2002, so if you can manage to do those, then XIII combos should feel pretty easy.

Sweet because I'm going to use my TE stick with GGPO to play this. By the time XIII comes out i should be more comfortable with the jumping because i seem to do my jumpins too early. I guess its because of too much street fighter lolz.

If you want to train your reaction time try playing the older KOF's like '98, '99, 2003 cause the game flow there's much faster. :D (only a recommendation)
