I'm sorry for continuing this, but I personally have good experiences with BBCS's netcode. I also notice this by doing a simple 5A and noticing only little amounts delay.

Any talked about the monstous lag between 2 people in Hyper drive during the demo?
Have people been experiencing this? :<

Oh, that's worrying. Actually haven't heard of it.
Do you know if it's only during the HD activation, or if it continues during the whole HD periods (kinda hard to answer, perhaps)?

Hopefully it's only cause of the current build or something.

I don't know what kind of influence could make the fact that the game is a 3 vs 3 game with characters that had TONS of animation frames

You know KOF12/13 characters have roughly the same amount of animation frames as the old KOF characters sprites do right? Roughly 500-600 frames. It was stated an interview way back about KOF12's sprites and animation process.

Street Fighter III Third Strike has over +1,200 frames of animation per character, Garou:Mark Of The Wolves about 800-1,000 per character. BlazBlue has about 900-ish to a 1,000 per character I think last I checked the sprite files.

Of course, KOF characters from the earlier installments had a ton of moves, close to a half dozen specials, multiple command normals, several supers per character, plus a number of intro and win poses. There were also a TON of unique "get hit" animations in KOF games, think of many of the different grapple moves and such, especially from Blue Mary. KOF13 condensed all that so instead of useless silly stuff like intro's, win poses, taunts, etc, you have the core moves for each character, and they are all animated delicately, while kept within a reasonable limit of overall animation frames per character.

BB is pretty damn slow if you ask me. thats one of my personaly drawbacks from the game. ive never been a GG pro but i feel the minimum speed should be at least GGXXAC speed for games like this.
In the end, there can only be XIII.

By the time I get to play the game online, that might be when I'd appreciate the lack of spectator mode, but it's a big might as I could do other things in-between matches, like possibly look for other matches to fight. I seriously underestimated how something like spectator mode is important to people, so I hope SNKP can add it later to appease those complaining about it. I'm surprised, and slightly happy that so much went into single player versus online. I seriously hope the community, or any potential playerbase doesn't turn this into "no spectator, no buy"; be a shame to miss a hell of a game just because of that.

I am ok dropping the spectator mode if they include a replay channel.Still i am more interested in smooth netplay than anything else.If they fuck up the online this game is useless to me no matter what extra stuff they put in it.

The games slows down quite a bit and input delays occur during combos. For Exmaple, I was using robert when i went in HD mode with this combo:

C, f+B, (HD Activate), C, f+B, dp+A, (HD cancel) qcf hcb+P

Now when i did the dp+A, (HD cancel) qcf hcb+P, the dp never came  out and it went straight into the ranbu super.

BTW game is gorgeous on huge TV. I'm quite impressed. Gorgeous pixel are fantastic and vibrant!

No tourney play for me. had to catch stuff on schedule. But got hrs of play. waiting 4 reopen now.

 lol also watch the stream and seen him battling it out against Mr. KOF. lol Producer playing and he was pretty good.
