the only overpowered extra character in xi was ex kyo, the normal characters like gato & kula were a lot better than any of the other extra characters iirc.

I'm kinda reluctant to post my speculation as it seems like this has become a wishlist thread although we are speculating the "news" so what the heck.

The character from the left is actually standing with his back turned (look at the shoe)..and the other one is doing some kind of jumping in the air stance (it might be mary).For me it's hard to make any suppositions but for sure non of them looks like yamazaki (he is very tall and his body structure is athletic - that guy is skinny and wears some kind of kyo hippy pants) ...they might be introducing some new characters which would be cool too.

I can't remember where it was mentioned but they said they were bringing back fan favorites, so as much as I want new characters I don't think it's going to happen (not at least this version/patch).

Do you think it's possible to merge all the stuff that has been announced official in one post (edited when needed) in a new thread and lock it? IT's hard to keep up with it by reading about it in this thread because there is a lot of nonsense in between.If you can do it that would be cool.Thanx

Yeah that's why i say it might be mary doing some kind of pose jumping in the air.She is a very energetic person :D.But overall it's very hard to distinguish exactly who the 2 characters are.

well, they brought back flaming Iori, they could just as easy bring back Shingo.

the guy on the left could be Lin as well, as he always had a pose like that (back turned and arm out) but if they're listening in, it'll probably be yamazaki after all.

If i could have it my way, I'd rather have Adelheid and Mukai as extras. (bc it's not a dream match yet)

To try and help organize all the update info in one place, I copied and formatted my mega stage / character impression from Otakon onto the first page, in an early post I had there, only 1 or 2 below Kane's ultra-informative 1st post.

To continue relevance to modern post, people on NeoEmpire are talking to a guy who claims to "know a guy" close to SNKP, who confidently says the first silhouette is Rock Howard. He's standing with his arm to the side, with the tell-tale purple GEESEnergy seeping from his palm.

Of course, this is perfectly mixed with the news from the EVO panel, where the producer smiled, and mentioned that Garou characters are a possibility...

The second guy is Gai or Oswald, just judging the pose, that, or vanessa, if im not wrong she had a pose where she turned her back and extended her arms right?

And rock, well, is a possibility, must be one of the most requested chars in KOF
