"Lap shaver" simply refers to the obsessive player that grinds laps on single courses over and over again for the purpose of eliminating milliseconds off their lap times.

Maybe I need to get used, but I don't like that much the analog stick to play daytona, but I had to play more

Woah, this is how polygonal remakes should be done, they did the perfect graphic changes to keep the original 1994 feeling intact, but looking beautiful on HD, Imo it was really well done, and I think that this Port looks more beautiful than any other port from the dreamcast

only took me like a hour total to get all the achievements for this game

daytona was never on dc (saturn), and scud race and daytona 2 (2 of the best racing games ever released along with ace driver 2 from namco) all have NEVER seen a console release. and as happy as i am with this game, i would have almost cried manly tears if this had been scud racer or daytona 2 instead.

that being said i need to buy more psn points just in case EU version also came out today.

I did the DC analogy because considering than them are newer  than daytona, their remakes weren't that well done
