I've read those stages are good for online matches, because it makes the match smoother for being plain stages.
Don't know if true tho.

Anyways those stages are good to analize moves, like range and stuff like that.

yeah because the squares on the training stage can actually give you a good idea for distance on a set up. and you don't have distracting things like hippos and eclipses going on in the background.

I wonder how the online random stage system works behind the scenes.  

Maybe each stage will have more fair chance of being chosen than the same 5 stages chosen more often than the bigger favorites.   I wouldn't mind if there was some kind of set order so each stage gets a turn, or a system that tallies how many times the same stage is chosen, and crosses it out from the random selection if it's chosen 2 times more than other stages.

It's somewhat true (more true or not depending on the game of course) because there's less stuff to load up and deal with during a match.
On 5/26, something that defined a generation shall make its rightful return.  #Toonamisbackbitches.  Prepare yourselves.  Bang.

Ok, for those who want to use color edit but don't want to pay for unlock the colours, you need to fight 40 matches per character on ranked, player, or versus matches to unlock them all

If you for example play 40 matches with Andy/Ryo/Yuri, you will unlock all the colurs for them no matter if you don't used one of them or not

40 x 11 = 440 matches if you want to unlock all the colours

Wait so, as long as a character is used, even if it wasn't by you, the colors unlock?  Or is it, as long as you have so and so character in your team you unlock the color even though you didn't have to play as them during the match?

that is very fair.  :)    Especially cool online matches count towards unlocking colors.

Anyone, who has the game, figure out how to unlock saiki and his stage? I beat arcade to get Billy and finished story mode.

I'm not looking forward to playing on Dark Ash's stage, with the (mostly) pure white background. It's an okay stage for the final battle, but playing an actual fight on it sounds dreadful. I can only hope it's not included in the random stages online.

Amedo: Just keep doing the target missions for the first 3 matches, don't know the exact number, but doing 5 per round, you should fight against him

It's bearable.   But it really is confusing why SNKP would not implement stage select online.  Arcana Heart 3 has it.

  And stage select doesn't delay starting a match too much compared to the amount of time people take choosing characters.

I love that stage. The sound design on it is amazing.
