still doesn't give me much reason to care about it though yeah i mean im glad that kof is finally in evo so people can stop crying about it but thats hardly enough of a reason for me to change my stance on competitive gaming

Guessing here, but is it more the players and drama that annoy you, or more? Some of the players and the drama they bring is a turnoff for me.

thats some of it although thats a pretty normal reason, but i think at the end of day all it does is turn something ive enjoyed doing for fun into a job

I used to think the same as you did, didn't care at all for "pro gaming", but then I started playing fighters I really wanted to get good at and not lose or be free in, and even attended a few tournaments and got involved with my local scene, changed my mind about it completely.

I used to be solely an online warrior, but since getting more active in offline stuff, it's been alot better. Meet alot of new people and made new friends.
