Yeah, Sonic fans are crazy.
Anyway, filled day. Saw the Avengers. I have to admit, I was hella skeptical, but they did a fantastic job with the movie. Utterly fantastic. The pacing was great, something which was extremely important to this movie, but it was done well. Everything was just...great, and the two credit scenes were nice too.
YJ today...now that I've had a week to...cool off from my hatred of the time skip, I got to enjoy this episode a lot more. While I would've preferred to see how things would've played out in normal time, I guess I can live with this for now. The 5 years has been very good for Connor. He no longer has the Connor Rage, and is now actually a bit clever, and a LOT more subdued. And it's interesting how he dumped Megan for something that left him no choice, which I'm guessing has to do with Megan's...temperament change. Girl straight force choked the Alien Leader. You could've played the Imperial March and it would've fit. While she's playing the good big sis, it seems she's grown more...sadistic. Which also leads into BB's whole thing. Apparently Queen Bee killed his mother...and considering QB's connection to Megan...it's quite possible she murdered QB in revenge, which DEFINITELY seems like the kind of thing Connor would not be fond of.
Korra ep...yeah, hella weak today. Something tells me they didn't completely work out the kinks when retooling Korra from a 12 ep mini series to a full 26 episode series, since that episode was all over the place. Bolin at least made it bearable. Shipping crap all over the place, aka the type of thing you'd be worried about with a female main character. Again though Bolin made it decent, he made everything nice and funny, taking away some of the angst. On top of that, they THANKFULLY showed how effective he is as a bender. Second ep he really didn't do much other than teach Korra a new Earthbending style, and the third ep he got kidnapped and Amon made him his bitch. Nice that they showed how effective he really can be.
