How do I unlock Mr.Karate alt for Takuma?

When you select Takuma, press the select button while you are on the color selection menu.

Anyway, I believe the exact number of target actions for Saiki is about 50.  I counted mine and I had 50 the first time I fought him. 

As for that pic specifically, is it possible that you have to use Takuma's alternate specifically or use the Mr. Karate DLC character?

I didn't pick any alternate costume is my memory serves me right. I was choosing characters at random.

maybe this is a stupid question, but does it actually display your score anywhere during gameplay?  I've never seen it on the screen, apart from the bonuses it gives you at the end of matches.  Obviously it would normally be above your health bar, but I haven't actually noticed it.

So after the third match in arcade mode I thought that I surely had enough points to fight Saiki. Nope, Billy comes up as usual and my points counter is at 2,166,800. What's the deal?

I'm going to try that now, but I feel like I've done 5~6 per round in order to get that score anyway...

It's totally the 50 target actions. Just unlocked Saiki!

Also, unlocking Saiki unlocks the under the stadium stage.
