If you're in the Orlando area or are willing to make the drive, you should come out to this. Jebailey's events are always well-run and well-attended. An excellent way to meet fellow players, learn more about the game, and rep KOF 13. Let's show Florida that 13 is a game worthy of everyone's attention.

Welcome to Dreamcancel, Alex! Thanks for posting this up here and doing this tournament. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll be able to make it but I'll try my best!

Yeah Jebailey let's get kof hype in Florida!!!!!

I'm already preregistered for entry in the KoF XIII and Tekken 6 events.

I just went to CEO as a spectator so this should be a good opportunity to go for realzies.

EDIT: BTW, it's a shame this is happening in January. CEO was awesome enough to host Soul Calibur IV at the 2011 event as a top tournament (I had figured everyone had just forgotten SC4). Winterfest is going to miss SC5's launch by a paltry 10 days.

Ben Reed

This event will miss the SC5 launch, but there's another Orlando event the month after with both SC5 and KOF as games. More info here:

I will be at this tournament tomorrow. It will be my first KoF tournament so I am pretty hype about it. Myself and probably seven/eight other guys are driving down from Gainesville for this one.

I have been having a hard time deciding on a team, so I just practiced the Fatal Fury team this week. Going to run it Andy/Joe/Terry.  If I can just combo into a few supers in tournament I will be happy because my nerves usually get the best of me.

Ben Reed

Thanks a bunch to everybody who made it out for KOF 13 at Winterfest. We had 17-18 pre-registered and ended up having 31 people actually play. These are _very_ impressive numbers for a game in its infancy in Florida/Orlando, and I cannot thank enough all the people who came out to rep KOF. If these numbers and the solid play that accompanied them continue, this game is going places in this state.

Unfortunately due to unexpected time constraints with the venue, we were not able to play out grand finals. Loser's finals finished successfully, and the top 2 split the pot by mutual agreement. Full results to come within a few days. Here are the top 3:

Tied for 1st and 2nd: Casanova (K`/Maxima/Clark/Shen) and DarkHonor (Kyo/Terry/Ash)
3rd place: D'Nyce (Kyo/K`/Shen (?) )

I ended up not being able to make it. Work got in the way.

Glad all of you had fun.

I had a great time last night. I didn't win but seeing my hard work pay off in at least a few wins in casuals and tournament play combined makes me feel great.

Mike Santi

Yooo tournament was fun! I have given my thanks over facebook but I shall continue to do so here so thanks Jebailey for the event as well as Ben Reed for running the thing. Also to the folks who provided the setups.

Thanks again Sike for the tips. Going to be hitting the lab up hard. Was a place shy from top 8, so I'm going to be gunning for top 3 next tournament I go to. ;)

Kirbilot

Had a lot of fun at this tournament (This is Adam H., was playing Fatal Fury team). Thanks to Ben for running the bracket and Sike for the tips. Hope I will see you guys at some more FL events.

It was great to get to play against different people and characters I don't get to fight in Gainesville. I need to get serious in training mode so I won't drop every combo next time.
