First of all I want to thank everyone who participated. I know it was rough so I really appreciate you guys sticking with me.

Secondly, apologies to those playing 360 who actually showed up. Sorry the turnout was not big enough to go through with it. Blame the slackers who didn't show up.

1st Place
Kane317

2nd Place
Desmond Delaghetto

tofusoup3421, 3rd
nightmoves, 4th
MetalThrashingMadman, steamwolf, 5th

Please note that most of the players did not show up so these results are not entirely accurate.

Thanks for the tournament Metal.

A pity we couldn't do anything for matches that wouldn't connect, but whaddaya gonna do (and I was on a roll!) :)

Again, big ups for arranging it. We all know it was a lot of work.

Thanks for running this, it was a lot of fun. Even though the turnout was half of who signed up, it's pretty expected of online events and tournaments (my FT10 series only had a quarter or more that signed up actually play). I suggest you keep running these once the netcode is better, and even have some of us help you out.

Running Wild

Who you callin' a slacker? :(

I was a beat from the ranbat the night before, I was awake for +30 hours straight.

I'll play next time. Hopefully by then there is a patch and the netplay for the game is tolerable.

Congrats to Kane and Desmond, our King and QUEEN of fighters.

Sorry, when I said slackers I forgot to add "except for Running Wild." Speaking seriously, that comment was for all those who signed up and then never gave the tournament a second thought.

Also, I did appreciate the chance to chat with everyone. We got some really cool folks here at dreamcancel so it's always a pleasure.

@Desmond: I won't be as free next time so be ready.

@Kane: I'm really dissapointed we didn't cross paths. I was looking forward to beating the shit out of your chin's fists with my terry's face.

Please don't take that personally. I think the bad netcode made people give it a second thought (like Running Wild). I did have fun chatting with 30 of the people that were in the toolbar chat, so you should try focusing more on the positive than the negative. Running this kind of tournament is a very brave endeavor and you get my props for trying. So, please, when the netcode gets an good improvement and boost, we should keep running these as often as we could. Like I said, you will have my assistance and hopefully others will help you too.

I will look forward to that.

Even thought I missed my losers bracket match, I enjoyed the tournament.
Thanks for organizing it.

I remember that you were my first opponent in the tournament. Ironically enough, I was also your losers bracket opponent, thanks to Desmond and his annoying Takuma I had to fight... four times!

But yeah, this was fun. We should do it again.

I resent being called slacker we all know the netcode wasn't very friendly and so it killed the hype. I forgot completely but once I knew for sure my connection wasn't going to be any good I wasn't going to join knowing that.

Don't take it personally. I meant it jokingly anyway. I invested a lot of my personal time to organize this thing, I would hope that I could get away with a small remark or two. I'm a little disappointed about the turnout, but I am not mad (except in the sense that I am crazy). No reason for anyone else to be upset either.

Unless you are joking too, in which case ignore everything I just said.
