Topic: New Backgrounds only appearing in Online Matches (junkyard, esaka 96)

Does anyone know why some backgrounds only seem to appear when you play Online matches? I see the Junkyard Stage from 95' (i think) with the American Sports Team in the background and the Esaka 96' background all the time but only when I play matches in Online mode.

Am I missing something? Are these unlockable in the game somewhere? Are these DLC? Is it a bug??

Nop, they are the stages from EX Iori, EX Kyo and the Obscure Dojo is from Mr. Karate DLC characters. The stages are already in the game, and because the game picks stages at random, you can play in them.

Nothing more.

And you probably will be able to choose the stage of EX Iori when you buy him, the same with the other 2.

Yep, confirmed. You own the stages once you own the DLCs.

The Iori stage is available to me bc we got the DLC code with the game in Japan.

ive got 3 replays, and they're of these 3 stages. esaka > junkyard > dojo.

haoh in osaka is awesome. i love how in mr karate stage moriya act's like he's not interested in the fight but secretly watches the fight in the reflection of his sword. shiki acting emo like always. 3d rendered car in iori stage looks extra dope.
