This was posted on the front page of SRK with embeds of winners, losers and grand finals.  Here is a link to Jaxel's youtube channel that has more matches from the same tournament.  Solid point/anchor K' play from Rogue Yoshi so I thought I would post it here for anyone that may have missed it on SRK.

This place is seeming really dead. Where's everyone at?

Started playing in training mode and was trying out the glitch where K' can punish passive rolls off a reset. It was placed in the video below. Credit going to those in the credits of the video (Luis Cha, Real Kim, Yoshi, Romance)

http://youtu.be/zwEIYjFIGbE?t=26s

The tech:
So lets break down this back-turned cross up. K' does a jump C, does a low light kick and does EX Ein Trigger. From there, he does minute spike into narrow spike. As soon as he gets out of recovery, K' jumps, but if the opponent teched the knockdown into a roll, K' turns around and goes for a cross up BEHIND the opponent after they come out of the roll.

How does it work:
So this is a glitch with K' positioning after K' does a minute spike. He ends up behind the opponent. This happens when you're doing a combo sometimes and EX Minute spike from a drive cancel after a DP to continue your wall carry or what not. In any case, K' ends up behind the opponent in a slightly ambiguous fashion. However, even though he's facing the other way, the game doesn't read him as facing backward but forward.

Instances where this happens:
j.CD counter hit (K' higher than airborne opponent), EX Minute Spike
...dp+A, EX Minute spike
(j.C), st.C, EX Ein Trigger, Second Shoot, Minute spike
(j.C), d.B, EX Ein Trigger, Second Shoot, Minute spike

How you do it:
Do any of these situations somewhere in midscreen or towards the corner. After the minute spike into narrow spike, SUPER JUMP forward. If they tech, you'll turn around and end up behind them. If you do jump C, it connects for full combo.

If you normal jump, you won't cross them up, but you'll be right in front of them and safe. You probably won't connect jump C as a meaty, but if you do this cross up a lot, you can mix it up by doing a normal jump instead to confuse them.

I do get a cross up with the jC using that setup but more often then not its a true meaty cross up instead of a glitched looking one with K' jumping in a funky direction.

Still though, dunno how useful this is except for an unknowing opponent. The setup reminds me of the one Luis Cha uses with Andy after his Break, he keeps failing it because people know that all they have to do is not quick rise to avoid it.

Oh and I started trying this on the wrong followup of the EX trigger (the fireball one) and if you do it with that then you end up doing a meaty jC in front of the opponent if they quick rise.

For the most part, it's for an unknowing opponent and to punish somebody that techs alot.

I think it's pretty useful as well because you don't have to cross up. You can just be in front of them if you normal jump, you can hold forward after the minute spike to walk under them. You can do minute spike again or blackout to chase after them (You'll still be safe whether they tech or not). You can do all kinds of things to scare people into a response.

Edit: Gonna try that out. I really would like to finger out more cross ups for K', it's too hard to cross people up with him!

Sir Octopus (Saiki)

Tis is the Luis Cha from Mexico tech, sweet technology might I say.

DJMirror949

While it does look sweet, I strongly believe it's not practical, the most you can get it on someone is one time.

PMed you what I thought. Lemme know if it was helpful.

EDIT:

Also, since this is the K' video thread, we should post videos of noteable K' players or matches that can lead to gaining a lot more insight on what to do. I'll list recent videos of them playing and where they're from. You can take the liberty of browsing the net to find more footage of them. Once you got the name, it's pretty easy.

Thanks a lot! I have been looking for k' players that I could watch, kind of see what I "need or should" be doing with him. Appreciate it.
