I don't understand that midscreen combo. The video says that if the opponent is gunna cross you up then do Nivose lower. I do that and they still manage to cross me up. I try to do it as late as possible and they still cross me up, but, sometimes they don't. I don't fucking get it.

So this is probably a retarded question, and I recognize the fact, however.
When I want to activate Sans-Culotte with

I get HD, every single time and I occasionally get Sans-Culotte while i'm in HD mode, which isn't really doing me any good. Any solution?

You're probably just inputting it too fast.

What do you mean doing it too fast? Its ABCD all together isn't it?
I literally can't get it to happen without activating HD first.

You don't press them at the same time, you press them in order A, then B, then C, then D.

Hey guys .. so Im new here.. so please pardon my ignorance..

.. Im trying to pull off the combo off the tutorial that was given but I cant get the Sans-Culotte part right .. I mean I know the sequence but either ash hits the character in wish the other character is pushed back ( so when i do activate sans-culotte the opponent is not thrown up and therefore can start the combo) .. is there any delay sequence in pressing the buttons ?? thanks

P.S - Im using PS3 .. and LP is the square while HP is the triangle .. LK is the X and the HK is the O .. also can you use the L an R buttons to pull this off???

You've gotta be doing it late. Press the HK as soon as you land from Floreal and it'll catch them. It actually has a ton of leeway on the button presses. You can wait almost a full second in between, as long as it is in sequence.

Sooo, am I the only one who gets pissed about his console sans-cullotes damage now? I'm doing that OMG IM SO AWESOME combo but when i look at the dmg it's so... meh...

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, so I came here to ask what are the most damaging sans-cullote combos you people know, corner-only and corner-carrying. They don't need to be exacly practical, I'm still exploring his damage, I just need to have better ideas for loops and stuff I should look for to optimize his damage.

By the way, SNK's latest video has some examples, unfortunately nothing new to me:

That's pretty much the conclusion I came to as well. I think its only worth if you go straight into a HD combo after it (or go into it from an HD combo) or maybe if you do another SC after the first one ends.

So yeah, don't think it worth the risk/effort to do it raw (as in just one SC by itself).
