Both players played excellently, and I REEEAAALLY wanted Bala to win, but I have to give mad props to MadKOF for taking the first KoF EVO tournament.

But in the end, whoever won, the real winner was King of Fighters! Here's to seeing it bigger and better next year!!

Bala's lack of comfort in the late rounds of tourneys finally comes back to haunt him.  He'll get better after this, but it makes me wish he had lost a major before EVO, so he could've worked toward getting past it before EVO.  Alas, it went the way it went.  He fought hard, but Mad_KoF's Duo and Chin were just otherworldly.

This was just amazing. Bala vs Mad was so back and forth, they kept it intense 'till the end.

Congratulations to Mad_KOF! That final was amazing, and both players played amazingly. Mad was beyond amazing, really.

I couldn't be happier to see KOF getting this much hype. The final match had 90,000 viewers!

Also, it's pretty awesome that Chin and Duolon were the stars of the show. XIII has no low tiers.

What an incredible event.  Every match was so finely executed.  Congratulations to Mad KOF.  The crowd was salty at the end, he deserved more recognition, but despite that everyone seemed to really love and appreciate the game.  Really hope to see it back again next year.

this final just proved that tier lists just do not matter in this game as I stated over and over again.

(Raynold could have won against Mad_KoF in losers but DAMN!)
