Most of you have seen the news on the front page hopefully. Nice to finally have stronger confirmation of this now. I plan to get both as soon as they hit, especially 02UM. Are you guys excited too? Have any expectations for these ports?

I think they'll be good & hopefully have some decent netplay with them as well. My personal issue is if I'll have a computer that will be able to run the games when they come out.

I'm a little worried about the netplay and computer specs myself. The QQ Tencent versions of these games have roll-back and can run on my laptop which has a weak integrated display card.

Anyone here wanna help on working on the wiki for these games? I've been constantly updating the 02UM wiki.

Yea I think a toaster can run these no problem. Mine is which I didn't have any issues with no high requirement games

About time it comes out. Now time to save up steam money.

Running Wild

I'm excited to have both of these games on Steam, especially 98UM Final Edition.

Of course, I want really good netcode for both.

But what I really want to see is a bit of a revival for these games in the competitive scene, and hopefully more activity/discussion on these forums about them.

98UMFE is dated for November 14th, and 2k2UM a month later.

GET HYPE.

The 14 means 2014 not the 14th. We talked about this in the comments section of this podcast episode:

The game is available on Steam. You can purchase it at a discounted price until the 12th of December. I believe it's $11.99 now...

Lol, dude I've got people asking me about the release date in person even after I told them, so with that logic, I posted...

Anyways, to those who did manage to buy the game, how's it play so far???

We have a few articles on the front page so far with a notification on top of the forum, tweets and facebook statuses about the game...If you told people in person, telling people here is sorta like preaching to the choir.

The game hasn't been released yet, it's only available to pre-order.
