I find the Micro D-pad to be the best for fighting games. The D-pad is a bit looser and there's a grip for it that gives it handles like the PS2 pad.

Is that an answer to my question? Just checking...

Any KOF (or SNK) fighter on NGP/C was so friggin good. Need to re-invest in those when I can.

Fer sure. NGP was great for that and the controls were tight. I had the GBA games as well, but playability-wise preferred NGP.

That said EX2 Howling Blood was pretty good. Enjoyed Reiji Kagura the most, great chr. I really think XIII/XIV should have the Reiji/Chizuru moveset, some really fun stuff with those tricky illusions.
